Absolutely unparalleled on the communication front. Pricing:You get what you pay for -- he's not cheap but not exorbitant either. Other contractors underbid him. I one--time made a mistake to let price win out of what I knew would be a sure thing. In the end, Marco did the work when the first contractor turned out to be incompetent. Marco has been in the business for many years and it shows. When meeting with us, he was able to assess the project and take charge of it, making insightful recommendations along the way to help improve what we had in mind and also make it more affordable by making alternate suggestions. He was able to assist with everything from permitting to the demolishing and the building and provided timely updates along the way, with full disclosure. I was very happy with ABC Construction's price and only heard good things about them, so as soon as he gave me a quote, I asked him to proceed. I signed the contract and mailed it back to him (I live in East Boston). The project was done in ten days. The windows are quite good and very professionally installed and one of them is a large (what he calls a "picture") window. The house now retains heat and looks much nicer! Jeff came in, gave us an estimate for replacing the kitchen ceiling, and we agreed to go ahead, knowing that whatever would have to be fixed in the upstairs bath would cost extra. My husband and I were honestly expecting it would cost another 200% or more. Jeff found the leak (it was the clean water source for the toilet tank and not the shower at all), showed us the problem, and went ahead and fixed it. He redid the kitchen ceiling and painted it, all with minimal disruption to two people who work from home. And the extra cost? It was an additional 33 1/3% (or, an additional one-third added to the initial estimate)! Clean, quiet, professional, fast, smart, I cannot say enough good things about him!

Having never been through a renovation, the repair process went beyond my expectations. Given that my roommate and I were still living in my home through the process, it was not as bad as I thought it would be. The Bryson Builders team members were professional and treated my home well. For the most part, the work area was cleaned on a daily basis and I can see progress as time passed. Due to my schedule, I appreciated the flexibility in being able to communicate with Peter via phone or email. I received updates from Peter frequently allowing me to be mentally prepared and/or to prepare my home as necessary. The finished product is so amazing, from the quality paint job throughout the home, the installation of the countertops, electrical work, and the bathroom tiling to the roof replacement.
