They gut renovated both of our bathrooms, which was no easy task considering the overall age of our house, size of our bathroom, and required customization. They are incredibly hard working and always checked with us about our needs during the construction period. We feel very fortunate that we hired them. The quality of work in our bathrooms is top notch. Their ability to proceed with care, efficiency, problem-solve, communicate, and their attention to detail is outstanding. We feel like we had so many tall requests for this project and they delivered on all of them.

Based solely on…read morethe home renovation started by Derek Barnes and his team of my project was a total disaster; disorganized, mismanaged and incompetence. One of the building inspectors for Hull was so shocked by the poor quality of the workmanship that he took photos for documentation. Derek's subcontractors, Richard Handrihan, electrical, and Sean O'Rourke, plumbing, both also performed substandard work and repeatedly up charged for work as they claimed Derek owed them both portions of the deposits I made specifically earmarked for them. Overall the experience was a nightmare. Beware!

Now that doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement, right? The whole "he's the best of the worst" but NO, that's not the case here. MIke is a pleasure to work with, and the guys on his team clearly take their cues from his approach. He communicates every step of the way (text, phone, stops by) and always responds to messages RIGHT AWAY. His work is excellent and if there is such a thing as a "creative" plumber, that's Mike. These really old houses in Hull can be very challenging to work on but Mike comes up with a solution every time and never cuts corners. Finally, his prices are fair - which, given the service he provides, should be high. He's installed a new bathroom, fixed the screw-ups of another local plumber with a tankless water heater, replumbed lines to accommodate basement renovations - and we couldn't be more pleased with every job. I only wish we had found him sooner. Call him - you won't be sorry!

You can trust his advice and pricing to be 100% honest, if not selling HIMSELF short! On Weds, 8/7 DURING OUR FIRST OPEN HOUSE, we discovered water steadily dripping from one floor to the next in a home brand new to the market!!! Mike is NOT a 24-hour plumber and still, he came to save the day! My elderly home owner was naturally in distress over this very unhappy suprise. Mike was so kind and patient. He diagnosed and explained the problem and literally saved the day by spending the next several HOURS repairing and replacing failed plumbing. Not only that, he came back the next day, after the damaged ceiling was open, to make sure the plumbing therein was in tip top shape. Mike is a gem! He's kind, patient, selfless, helpful, he's a team player and he's the BEST PLUMBER AROUND!
