Bob in Stillwater I've been going regularly for several years. I only go to Doc. I always get the cut I want and have started getting beard trims. Fantastic work. This is a barber shop, I go there to get a cut. When I want my feelings pampered, I go home to my wife. That's NOT saying that they are rude or unprofessional. I have had a couple of appointment snafu's, but then you suck it up. I understand that I am not the only customer they see and I need to be flexible ( they do try to fit in 'walk-ins). Folks ( the ones that the world revolves around) that get on Yelp just to complain never got taught good manners by mommy! read more

Worst haircut I have had in a long time. Went in with hair that fell down to tip of my nose. I asked Destiny to cut it so it fell at eyebrow level, and showed her a reference photo of how I'd style it and the length I wanted so we were on the same page. I left with my hair not even reaching halfway down my forehead. She asked if I wanted my sideburns shaved, after she already started shaving one side... and she thinned out my hair without asking. For a first time customer, this was all very disappointing. I will be wearing a hat this week and am NEVER going back. 0/5 stars if I could. read more

Unfortunately I tried to like this shop. I made an appointment last month, waited 40 mins past my appointment time. Today I made another appointment, waited 35+ mins past the time and had to leave and go back to work without my hair cut. The haircut I got the first time was good but when you make an appointment you should be seen within a reasonable time frame around your appointment. I won't name names but... The lady that I had an appointment with didn't seem like she cared at all that she was late nor that I just wasted my lunch. She didn't even bother to say anything to me. The gentleman, I think his name is Joe, was apologetic and showed more concern than the lady I made the appointment with. I don't know, maybe I will give them another shot in the future. They seem to do good work but after being treated like my time doesn't matter I am left pretty irritated. read more

Showed a picture of what kind of haircut I wanted and ended up getting a fade I didn't ask for. And it was a bad one, at that. The hair on top wasn't even touched and the "fade" was terribly uneven. Lol I've had to wear a hat for the past couple months to wait on it to grow out. I do not recommend downtown barbershop to ANYBODY read more

We really like Joe, gives a great cut. He was out sick so we agreed to meet another barber. We were on time for our appointment we were barley acknowledged (have seen this with other people in the past) the barber went to the bathroom after waiting ten minutes we left. Called today to reschedule and was told by the owner (was very rude)said since we walked out we would have to talk to Joe for an appointment I explained To the owner why we left he became very rude and hung up on me. This is the best place in town for a guy to get a cut. It's got great tunes on speakers, a great staff, great conversations and Doc gives the best cut I've ever had. I refuse to go anywhere else. read more

Asked for a simple buzz cut and I couldn't be happier. Joe did a great job.

Went in for a beard trim and it was like she had never seen or touched a beard. She cut it WAY too low and the lines aren't straight or even. If you like your beard, avoid this place. Many weeks of growth down the drain... This is a lesson I'll never forget! read more

I really like this place. Good atmosphere and good conversation and a good haircut. They are always busy and it is sometimes a long wait if you walk in. I'm starting to schedule my haircuts so I don't have to wait too long and liking that better. Randall runs a good operation. read more

Disrespectful: I waited around an hour and a half to get seated, so naturally I needed to use the restroom. There's no sign to the restroom, which as i found out was outside the shop and down a long dimly lit hallway, so I asked just before being seated if I may use it before starting. The barber pointed me in the direction of it, and less then two minutes later I return to see that he has seated someone else. I then find out from a friend that he was talking behind my back after I left. To me this incredibly disrespectful and by far some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. In the end I was unable to stay as I didn't expect to need 3 hours for a haircut. I would absolutely not recommend this place. read more

Its not about the fact that they don't do women's cuts, thats fine. When you are rude to someone looking for a haircut and then incite revenge on her for a bad review, that's when we start to have a problem. Running a business is about more than the service you provide. read more

I was very excited to go here. Seems like the place I'm looking for I want somewhere that is experienced in men's hair and beards. I'm tired of the bad haircuts at Supercuts. That being said I decided this was the place for me. I looked at the hours of operation and as a 8-5 working man I can't make it in. I called to see if they had any desire to make accommodations or if they ever planned on being open later or on weekends. They didn't seem to care. read more

My husband had his hair cut by Randall a couple of weeks ago. He told him to give him a military cut with enough left on top to comb. Randall made sure that was what he really wanted - my husband's hair was quite shaggy at the time - then cut it exactly as he requested. The shop was very clean and very nice. The staff friendly and professional. Prices are very reasonable. Oh, and a big screen TV, too! He will be a repeat customer - when his hair grows out! read more
