The space is very clean, comfortable, and adorably decorated. The woman at the front desk was so sweet and welcoming. I like that the massage area has more private areas than many places like this- it's kind of like an office space with semi-private cubicles. It's a clothes-on place. No disrobing for treatments here, except removing your shoes and socks. We both liked our treatments- very relaxing and stress relieving, although it's definitely more like reflexology than massage- more pressure points pushed on than long strokes or rubbing. I realize it's called 'Pro Reflexology,' but both locations of Tao Reflexology, including one just up the street from this place, are more massage based. As a nurse, I have a lot of back pain and stiffness from manually moving patients around as well as computer work. He always starts off the session by asking if you have any specific areas of concerns or have begun any new medications or sustained any recent injuries to make sure a massage is safe for you at that time. I ask a TON of questions about why a specific area is causing me trouble and he always provides a thorough explanation about the muscle connections/insertion sites, etc., as well as recommendations for stretches that can help alleviate those trouble areas beyond your session.
