Paid for the "Strawberry Jamboree" event here and felt completely scammed. Other, similar events do…read morenot have entry fees and that should have been my first red flag. The event was highly advertised and we paid $10pp ($20 total) to drive almost 40 minutes to this event. Go up to scan our tickets and only after the lady happily scans our tickets does she inform us there are no strawberries. Sold out, none to pick, none to buy. Advertised "multiple vendors" and there were 2 vendors under tents. It was a complete ghost town. A band was playing to absolutely no one. The cows we saw were completely COVERED in flies where I couldn't even see some of their faces with the layers of flies, on top of flies covering them...they looked absolutely miserable. What a cash grab. This event should have been canceled and refunded. Being unprepared is one thing...falsely advertising it at a grand event when there was nothing and no one is a different thing all together.

Well that was just what was in this season. Inquire about other produce in other season. I have never ate a French white melon so ripe and full of juice before. You will never find something comparable in the supermarket. Not even Whole Foods where you will be gauge on their blatant "freshness" campaign. Try any one of their melons and you won't be sorry. The farm wasn't open during our visit but we did get to check out their shop which had a lot of maple syrup, apples, and apple products. My friend bought a pint of their apple cider and when we tried it later that day we were really amazed by how crisp and refreshing it was. I bought a single apple cider donut for us to try and it was really soft and lovely, as well as some New Hampshire Maple Syrup. I learned that maple syrup from New Hampshire and Vermont have very distinct tastes so I'm curious to do a taste test at home!

The outdoor areas have some seating right against the store and tons more in the beer garden area. Greenhouses. A whole kid play area with toys, sandboxes, swings. We went inside and the fruits and veggies were beautiful. We started looking at tomatoes and Dennis (owner?) insisted on getting us more to choose from. We had a nice little conversation about growing basil while they were pricing tubs of corn chowder. Dennis asked if we liked corn chowder and we said yes, so he told us he was giving us a tub of his to try cause it will be the best we ever had! While it wasn't the best I've ever had, it was pretty damn near close! The corn was great, the tomatoes were great, the squash was great! The pick your own blueberries were delightful!
