Keith was easy to coordinate with ahead of time and always extremely responsive, which made the planning process smooth. Our photographer Robin was excellent. He helped us schedule the day to make the most of our time while still being mindful of the flow. We had a few special requests, like a photoshoot with our dog Bowie on the Embarcadero, and he made it all happen seamlessly. He also planned ahead to capture us at sunset overlooking the Bay Bridge, which turned into one of our favorite shots. We originally chose Robin for his incredible candid photography (since we're not naturals at posing), and we are so glad we did! Even our guests commented on how many wonderful candids he captured. At the same time, he guided us through posed photos when needed and brought a creative vision that went far beyond the basics we had in mind. It's also clear that Robin truly loves what he does - his enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. On top of everything, he delivered our photos back to us in just one week, which is unheard of and so greatly appreciated. It was a lot of fun working with Robin - he was easygoing, professional, and stuck with us through a long day with such positive energy. We would absolutely recommend him and Lynds Photo & Video to anyone looking for wedding photography.

She was easy going and kept the photography process simple and fun. She worked with our tight schedule without any stress, even when some things didn't go according to plan (ie. people not showing up at the right spot/time). We truly appreciated how prepared and creative she was, knowing what photos to take and where to take them. Our experience with JennyDee Photography was excellent from our initial emails all the way until we…read morereceived the final photos. Jenny and Geo (her husband and assistant photographer) are very responsive, professional, and committed to providing you all the shots you want. My husband and I hired JennyDee Photography for both our Engagement and Wedding photography and we could not be more pleased. We had multiple calls in the months leading up to the wedding to align on what we wanted, discussed the overall wedding timeline, and provided the list of shots we wanted. Their website also has example timelines for photography, which were very helpful as we planned our day and allowed us to not compress everything too much. Working with Jenny and Geo is also a great experience. They are organized, funny, kind, and encouraging -- they will help pose you as needed, but generally allow for a very genuine capture of the day. They are also very organized and will help keep things moving efficiently without being overbearing -- I could trust that they would get all the shots we needed without feeling like I needed to check in, and both posed and candid shots were phenomenal. Finally, all the photographs we received from JennyDee Photography (in less than a month!) are joy and whimsy personified. They managed to capture the color, vibrancy, and happiness of that day in the photographs -- I couldn't stop smiling the whole time I reviewed the gallery. The photography and editing style is so vibrant, genuine and fun in a sea of very muted photography nowadays-- I will lovingly look at the pictures for years to come. I could not recommend them more highly. Photo Credits: @JennyDeePhotography

My wife and I got married this past December, and we couldn't be happier with our wedding…read morephotographer, Jennifer Michelson / A Girl and a Camera. I actually found Jennifer after searching online for photographers in San Francisco and her work immediately stood out. Her style felt fresh and unconventional -- more documentary and journalistic than traditional -- and I especially loved her use of black and white photography, which was a big reason we chose her. The day started at our hotel, where she jumped between our separate rooms to capture my wife and me getting ready. Before she had even gotten to our rooms, she had already scouted the perfect location for our first look. The moment was absolutely incredible, and she handled everything; we didn't have to do a thing but follow her lead. That professional confidence continued at City Hall. She has a masterful familiarity with the building. She took full control of the shoot, guiding us as she told us exactly where to stand, how to pose, and where to move next so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. As a photographer myself, I really appreciated her confidence and professionalism. All we had to do was follow instructions and be present. She knows San Francisco City Hall inside and out -- the lighting, the angles, the timing, and the key locations that truly matter -- every shot felt deliberate and it showed. The technical skill here is top-notch-- the compositions were beautiful, the balance of each frame was spot-on, and her gorgeous color grading. We received around 300 images, and the quality is so consistent that I plan to print every last one of them in large format to ensure we have a permanent physical archive. When we received the final package, we were so touched -- she sent our photos on a beautiful USB drive along with printed images, some sweets, and other thoughtful details. It was the perfect finishing touch to a genuinely wonderful experience. If you're getting married at City Hall -- or anywhere in San Francisco -- Jennifer Michelson / A Girl and a Camera is exceptional. Thank you Jennifer! Laura and Junior.
