And the BEST possible result is that whatever stoned teenager you're dealing with reads aloud from the boxes for you? Rockler is kind of the exact opposite of that. It's very clear that the staff there are all genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about woodworking. I love that they always ask, "What project are you working on?" Maybe it's a just savvy sales technique, but it always comes across as genuine curiosity. The store has everything from an incredible selection of hardware, much of which you can't find anywhere else, to all sorts of exotic woods, to multi-thousand dollar power tools. It's great to have a store like this so close to home.

In the second area he lingered a few feet behind me for a long time after I found the area I needed: which I noticed, thought was strange, and I got the sense that he was trying to be intimidating. Then another costumer needed help finding something so he walked a away for less than a minute. Then he returned & continued eyeballing me. Very obvious and intrusive. After I found what I needed I walked to the front, and when I passed him I said; "You watching me like a hawk?" His reply was "yeah". I've been followed around in stores before, and I really don't like being profiled. But he admitted what he was he was doing which is accusing someone of being a thief by de facto. I'm not a thief, and have never stolen from a business. I voiced my protest to the guy at the front of the store. I really don't like leaving reviews that are negative because it affects everyone there. But when there's a employee who acts like that I'm sure the business owner would want to be aware. I'm almost 50, have never stolen from a business, and really don't like being treated like that.

They staff is great and there is Parking and no floor to ceiling merchandise or big forklifts beeping at you as you shop . If your looking for it I bet they have it . I was so surprised to see how many tools and supplies they had for the project I was doing . They also have snacks and fun items that you did not know you needed. This is my new go to store. I am just sorry I did not find it sooner.

When we enter the store, there always seems to be clustered chaos by the customer service desk, not sure why, but sometimes it's kind of in the way of guests trying to pass by. We have always had to try to find things on our own, but it would be nice if there was a staff member available to help for finding obscure things. We typically got to the Paint desk and that person has to radio for help. We wish the online product information for the local store stock was more accurate, but I know that may be hard to track in real time. We always use self-check out and the staff there is very attentive and on the spot to help and or clean the station after each use. It's a fine place to go if you're in the area.
