Solid Salon that will work hard to get you the results you want. I saw that I could walk over to this Salon and with Camilla the Yelping Hen getting starting to cluck about my roots and that it looked like they "took a dirt bath" I decided I was in need of a blonde refreshing. Very professional. Root touch up with Blowout will cost you $90 before tip. They do have an option for $65 you can get a root touch up with no blow dry. Which is really nice for those who are watching their budgets and can forgo the style. My roots turned out kinda yellow orange for my taste so I called and I was invited back to get them toned. They were really nice working with me on the best time for me and really warm about it. Stile just wants you to achieve the look you want. Once I got my roots toned I was happy! read more

Stile is packed with style - if you're looking for an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere while getting a fantastic color, cut, or style then this is your place! I followed Leslie here from another salon - as I walked in I instantly fell in love with the exposed brick and clean lines with a little bit of European flair. I already knew I loved Leslie, so of course this was my first impression. It's a small salon in Little Italy, which I personally prefer to the giant spaces with every booth full. As for Leslie - I'm so grateful for her work on my thin & sometimes unruly European hair. With Leslie's touch I'm finally inching away at the length I've wanted. The color work she does on me is beautiful and I constantly get compliments. She also stays flexible with my ever-changing desires since I like to change my color slightly to be more warm or light depending on each season. I had to get my hair done by another stylist for a wedding I was in, and even she was complimenting the color and health of my hair - saying it was a treat to get to play with hair like mine. Now that's a compliment - to Leslie's work. My highlights look amazing in updoes, ponytails, etc. and I have Leslie to thank for that! And let's not forget Leslie's head/neck massage when shampooing your hair is absolutely sublime... it's worth it for that alone! Most fear the parking situation when they think of Little Italy, but they are actually in a great spot with a ton of non-metered, metered and paid lot parking around. Just bring your quarters to be safe if coming before 6pm and during a peak hour. I had no trouble at all parking right across the street from the salon so don't let this deter you. Looking forward to more appointments... perhaps I'll have to think of an excuse to get my hair styled so I can go back sooner... :) read more

Kiley does my hair every time i go here and does an AMAZING job! Bright blonde is such a hard color to get right and she does my platinum fantastically. The salon is also very relaxing. A fun atmosphere with good music and vibes! Would highly recommend to anyone in the Little Italy or San Diego area. Laura the owner is also really sweet too. read more

After a quick review on Yelp I decided to give this salon a try. Leslie did a fantastic job with my haircut. My layers were choppy and she cleaned them up with ease. I feel fabulous & will be back again. Thanks Leslie! read more

Stile Salon - No more choppy layers! My fine, thin hair actually feels thick and healthy. Thanks Leslie! - Hair Extensions Near Me - San Diego, California

Kylie is the best! Previously, I had been trying to even out a really bad haircut I got from another girl in a different salon. It was badly chopped up with uneven layers, so thin because she used a thinning scissors and just did not deliver, but then I found Kylie! She totally saw the uneven layers and fixed them to perfection. Within three haircut sessions, my hair looks healthier, fuller, and my uneven layers are no more! I am so thankful I found Kylie here in San Diego. She has saved my hair and I greatly appreciate her professional opinion and trust her to make my hair beautiful again! I love Stile Salon because it's in Little Italy after I get my hair cut I go to the farmers market on Saturdays, life is good! THANK YOU, KYLIE! :) read more

I was lucky enough to book Lesley to give me my wedding-day-do! She was such a sweetheart, I was 20 minutes late (ah!) but she was so kind about it. She was so easy to work with, and very receptive of what I wanted, and totally worked with me! All in all, highly recommend the salon as a whole, as it is very welcoming and nice, and of course, I recommend Lesley! read more

Emily is the BEST!!! I have never had my hair look and feel so good. I am VERY particular about my hair and she makes sure it is EXACTLY how I want it. I use to go all the way up to Newport beach to get my hair done by her but thankfully she has moved down to san diego. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair. She always makes it look natural and makes sure you leave with the cut and color exactly how you wanted it. The salon itself is perfect. Everyone is there is so amazing. I am super busy and they always find a way to fit me in. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair - go see Emily! She is the best you can get. read more

Kylie has helped my hair so much. My hair was dry and felt like it was thinning. She suggested I make changes to my hair products and recommended products to help with growth. I've followed all her suggestions and Wow has my hair improved! It's taken time and patience but it's looking so much better. Not only does she give me an awesome cut and color every time I see her but she's actually helped me improve my hair! Thanks Kylie!!! read more

I just wanted to write a note of appreciation to Emily. I was in San Diego for a friend's wedding, and had 2.5 hours between the time I landed to the time of the ceremony. I left the rental car place b/c the line was 100 people long (Labor Day weekend), and literally started walking around the airport and ended up at Stile unannouced. Emily took me in and did my hair and makeup beautifully. She also gave me some brownies since I had to skip lunch. Thank you thank you! read more

I'll always give Amber 5 stars. I have had my hair done by her a few times, and it gets better every time. Sure hope to see her again soon... read more

Went to Stile Salon for the first time today and loved it!! I had my hair trimmed and blown out by Kylie and absolutely love the way it came out. I had went to see leslie cole for highlights and cut for my daughter's wedding again. This time my experience was not as great. I wanted deep carmel highlights like I always get. My hair came out looking more like cinnamon orange. Not good. I even told her and she said well let me finish blow drying it. Yup still orangey. .. at that point that I expressed my dislike she should of corrected it right then and there. Instead I came home with it. Next day made a appt to get go in. But had to cancel it because I was just to busy running around for the wedding.... so I was stuck with highlights that looked like a pumpkin! read more

Amber is a very sweet person and when I left her salon after 3 hours(!), my highlights looked ok in the mirror. When I got home, though, and looked more carefully, I realized that she had done a very messy job and unnatural highlighting- really the worst highlights in 15 years of getting them! She put the same platinum highlights she used on the top layer, on the underneath where my own hair is really dark - so it's like a zebra. On the back of my head where my hair parts at the top, you can see horizontal lines of her brush so I have weird stripes- same thing if you pull up any layers. I'm going to have it fixed somewhere else. read more

They sent me a letter, offering a free consultation and haircut because I recently moved to the neighborhood. I made an appointment actually more to get some consultation and maybe a trim. I got stuck behind the train and I saw this lady left me a VM. I called immediately after it was only 10 mins after my appt time. The lady told me that it is already been 15 min and argued about the time while I was checking the exact time on my phone. Anyways she said that she'd wait for 5 more mins only because she wants to go!!! I got there and she sit me and she didn't even spent any time for consultation. I told her to just trim my hair and then I saw she started straightening my hair!! I asked if she always cut hair dry, and she said no normally I cut the hair wet, but we don't have time now, so I just straighten it and then cut it!!!! And there was no other customers or anyone waiting. I told the lady that it's ok if she is in hurry I can make another appointment. But she said that she won't make any free appointments again! It was very interesting that this salon sends mails to give them a try, and in return you get such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I won't trust them with my hair at all. read more

Emily is a great stylist! She listens closely to what you want and carries it out beautifully. I have very dark hair and wanted to add some highlights--something that could easily look tacky. Emily used the balayage technique which she recommended would give me the most natural look. I got it done almost a year ago and have been going back ever since for touch ups. Emily is very friendly and knows her stuff; I highly recommend this salon! read more

Laura is amazing...gifted, creative and kind-I have been going to her for over 10 plus years- and would have quick layovers between travel and stayed in San Diego just to see her. She is as talented as any stylist I have ever gone too-in fact the first one who ever got my very difficult to lighten hair lighter and difficult to cover grey covered.... I am low maintenance but have high standards for color and cut-and she has never ever disappointed me! She is phenomenally talented yet down to earth and welcoming. She is a person who strives to get it right...and is always concerned with my satisfaction even after ten years....we are lucky to have her in SD.... read more

I have been seeing Laura for over 20 years! She is incredible at what she does and is always looking to improve and learn new things. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the receptionist and I will NOT be back! I could not find parking so I called and she would not answer the phone because she was too busy TEXTING! I was on the corner at the light and I could see her in the window sitting at her desk ignoring the phone ringing. I was trying to let them know i would be a few minutes late because parking was HORRIBLE. I pulled over in front of the salon to run in BECAUSE SHE WOULDNT ANSWER THE PHONE to let her know but she could have cared less and told me I could park wherever i could find something which could be a couple blocks and walk and if I couldn't make it back in 15 minutes I could not be seen and would have to reschedule. Trust me, I hope they don't hold their breath waiting for me to call. Too many other great salons with competent and polite receptionist. read more
