I told Ian I wanted a tigerlily on my foot. When I got to the convention we walked to sterilize his equipment and then went back to his stand. They had the most comfortable bench for me to sit on. He told me how his boss builds the benches and arm rests. We talked more about my tat and he quickly drew something. He listened when I told him to change things. He was fast but not rushing. He took the time he needed to make sure it was done right. It no doubt hurt a bit, but the pain was tolerable. We laughed and caught up while he worked. I barely noticed what was happening. Passerbys notice how relaxed I was, and Ian really helped to make the experience (not just cause he's my friend). It has been three weeks almost and it is completely healed. I am consistently getting compliments. Many people think it looks more like a painting than a tattoo. The most important thing is sanitary when getting a tattoo, I believe talent is next then you must find an artist you can talk to. Ian, as a person, has always been an easy guy to get along with. Setting biases aside, I would go back in a second to him. His professional standards are high and his workmanship is excellent.

I would like to give an A+ rating for clean friendly service. Mike did the piercing and he was very thorough with explaining the whole procedure and the aftercare. Did it hurt? Well yeah but just a pinch and it's over. As for swelling I didn't have any swelling or pain and the sensitivity was gone in a day. Everything healed up nicely. Not sure what the guy behind the desk name is but he was extremely nice and made you feel comfortable as soon as you walked in. Once inside, I was immediately greeted by a friendly girl and shortly after another friendly girl as well. Since there were a few people ahead of me to get piercings, I chatted with them until it was my turn to get pierced. The gal (holy shitballs I sound like an old man for calling her that) who did the piercing was super nice and very friendly and didn't make me feel stupid. (She ALSO wiped away my tears as she pierced my nose!) I used to live right down the road from this place so figured I'd go there to get a quick, small tattoo. The tattoo is all line work - two triangle shapes and a check mark - not hard right? So I go to get my tattoo and walk out with this. The lines are completely inconsistent in color and thickness. If you look carefully, you can see where the thickness varies and the lines aren't straight. Since this was back in 2017, I have no idea who at the shop did this one. But that's my own fault for not caring enough until now.

I didn't need to place a deposit, but when we showed up he came up with a bunch of little designs ready to go for us that were based on our references. He allowed us to pick and choose from the sheet and accommodated our wants/placement/sizing. He additionally was willing to do it in a marathon session, each one of us after another. The shop is very clean and the artists put their art on the walls. It's a nice little shop nestled in a plaza right next to Toko! There's tons of parking because it's in the plaza. The shop isn't open, nor are there separate rooms- it's a line with shorter barricades for some privacy. Plus, there's a bathroom in the back.
