The inside is a mid-sized convenience featuring mostly junk food; it's clean enough and the bathrooms are in the acceptable tier as far as cleanliness and hygiene. No changing table for diapers in the men's room, though. Staff have been relatively friendly, for the genre, which is truly a plus. (Am I ever in a good mood when I have to go into a convenience? No. So this helps.) The bonus here, as ever, is it's got a Mini-Micro Dunkin on the inside. The strange thing about these micro Dunky's inside gas stations is they frequently have as many donuts as the smaller Dunkin locations, and they're all baked off-site anyway. You can't get sandwiches but if you're just jonesing for the brew plus a sinker, it's actually better since you can pick out your own instead of gesticulating madly. And I've never had Me not understand I want my coffee Black and medium and hot, unlike about half of the Dunky's employees I've run into.

Not to often where you go to a gas station over and over and see someone with the same attitude as Harlem has shown. Like most ice…read morecream stands, there are menu boards posted outside, so we naturally assumed we would order from those. Instead, the family in front of us was handed a separate paper menu from inside. We had no idea that was how ordering worked, so I had to excuse myself past the people in line just to ask for one. It would have been much more customer-friendly if menus were readily available or if there was a sign letting customers know to ask for one. I was very disappointed with my visit. I ordered a hard vanilla ice cream sundae with fudge, peanut butter, and marshmallow, and it was nowhere near worth the $9 I paid. The vanilla ice cream tasted freezer-burned, with a dry, icy texture and a noticeable "crunch" that wasn't from nuts or any toppings, but from the ice crystals in the ice cream itself. It had a stale taste, and the texture made it seem like it had been sitting in the freezer too long. On top of that, there were barely any toppings. The fudge, peanut butter, and marshmallow were so sparse that I honestly wouldn't even consider it a real sundae. For the price, I expected fresh ice cream and generous toppings. Instead, I got what felt like a cup of old ice cream with just a small amount of topping. I don't mind paying premium prices when the quality matches, but this experience was very disappointing, and I wouldn't order it again. Also, there was an older gentleman wearing suspenders who appeared to be the owner or manager. While I was waiting for my order, I watched him speaking to the young employees in a way that came across as rude and dismissive. I obviously don't know what was going on behind the scenes, but from a customer's perspective it was uncomfortable to watch and created an unwelcoming atmosphere. The way employees are treated says a lot about a business, and unfortunately it left a negative impression on me.
