I made it very clear I was unsure if I was moving forward with my dental implant, since I was having a knee replacement later in the year. I was given a price of $615.00 as my total payment. I was assured everything was covered, regardless if I had my implant or not. Payment was made the day I had the teeth extracted. In August, I received another statement stating that I still owed $83.00, to which I paid right away. Fast forward 10 months, and I receive ANOTHER bill from OFSI for $674.00 stating that there was a "miscommunication" with my insurance company regarding me not getting the implant. 10 months later...when I went to appeal I was denied twice because I was past my 180 day window to appeal. When I questioned why it took 10 months no one could give me an answer. The office staff that I spoke with was not professional and not helpful. I was very frustrated that no one in the office was honest with me letting me know that the bone graft would only be covered IF I went ahead with the dental implant. This office lacks communication and transparency. Plus..I was not happy about the procedure, strapping my hands down in the chair and giving me ZERO post surgical information. Since my first phone call with them they were so helpful and kind, I really felt welcomed and that they really wanted to help me. They worked with me to make sure my insurance would cover everything and even returned my calls and kept me up to date. They called to remind me to not eat or drink the day of my surgery and the day of they were so nice and informative, they made sure I was comfortable and wanted me to ask any questions I had. My wisdom teeth removal went great and although I don't remember leaving, my boyfriend was filled in on how to follow up and care for my mouth for the next week. I am so happy and please with my experience here, I will recommend them to anyone who asks and will return if I have to.

He would talk to Prosthetic team and they would call me. Didn't hear anything and in extreme pain so went to office Monday without appointment requesting Prosthetic removal. Advised no. Told them i wasn't leaving until they were removed. Too much pain. After an hour or so. They were removed. I once again advised lowers and uppers were loose. The assistant confirmed uppers loose but didn't touch lowers. Put on caps, I left but no one set up time to discuss the bad Prosthetic. They simply sent letter dumping me as a patient because they weren't going to fix the defective Prosthetic that I paid $54000 for, and do you think they are going to refund the .money since they didn't meet their obligation? Just send me elsewhere so I can pay more money to fix their screw-up! My mouth is so sore I can't eat, drink nor talk. Pain pills no longer help. Unable to post picture but my mouth is so badly injured, the other dentist can't do anything for 3-4 weeks so mouth can heal. Again, cannot post picture of letter dated July 6 sent from Dr Pinkston advising they will no longer be my dental provider. Been complaining since early 2025 but they never fixed problem. Just push me off to another company. Don't care about their patients. Only the money. I just read Aspen Dental who owns Choice Care is about to go bankrupt.

My experience? Day 1 Removed 16 teeth and was fitted with full temporary implants. All my decision, could have gone partial, but knew what the future held and went the full Monty. Uppers and Lowers. 1 month evaluation and progress, evaluate healing and gums, your gums shrink after healing, leaving a void between your temps and gums. Water pick is mandatory. 2 months Removed temps, repaired them from grinding (my fault) didn't have my bite guard in. Then they templated my healed gums for permanent teeth. reinstall repaired temps. No charge for repair. 3.5 months return to get my permanent implants. was given the molds made for my process and procedure. Clear choice St Louis was the right providers for me. Considerably more expensive than the "Las Vegas" option but some things are not worth bargain shopping for. Or you could say that quality has a price. Financially and emotionally. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Morris and his team. I've gone through wisdom…read moretooth removal, double jaw surgery, and hardware removal with him in the last couple of years and couldn't have picked a better surgeon. I put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for nearly a decade because every surgeon I saw told me I would be left with permanent nerve damage based on the positioning of my teeth. Dr. Morris got my wisdom teeth out with no lasting impact. I had a terrible experience with another surgeon preparing me for major orthognathic surgery (double jaw surgery). Dr. Morris took over and made sure I was informed every step of the way. He stayed with me through my recovery, often accommodating last minute appointments on a weekly basis. He even showed up to the hospital to check on me on a weekend when I was readmitted after my surgery (at no fault of his own- I'm immune compromised and had some persistent infection issues). The whole process was easy to navigate, including appointments, dealing with insurance, etc.. His team is awesome, and they always made me feel at home in the office. I truly felt like everyone there was celebrating my progress each week I came in during my recovery. I see some of these other reviews complaining about his bedside manner. If you want someone to coddle you and sugarcoat things, he's probably not your guy. If you want someone to actually support you, show you genuine respect, give you real medical advice, and deliver perfect surgical outcomes, you've found the right place. The medical procedures he did for me have changed my life, and I'm so glad I trusted him. Dr. Morris is the best of the best.

Two years ago, my daughter had major jaw surgery conducted by Dr. Movahed. This surgery was over 6…read morehours long! Prior to the surgery my daughter had trouble breathing, slept with her mouth open and had an extremely weak chin. The surgery was miraculous! Post surgery, my daughter has no breathing issues, can sleep with her mouth closed and now has a beautiful profile with a chin perfectly proportioned to her face. In fact, her whole face seemed to properly align itself. She's a beautiful young woman. Most amazing was the post op recovery. She experienced very little pain! In fact, we only used about half the prescribed pain pills. Dr. Movahed was a stickler about the dos and don'ts of recovery - something extremely necessary with teenagers. I had to constantly remind my daughter that she just had major surgery and should take it easy with chewing hard foods. That's how remarkable this surgery was. The challenges of the surgery were traveling to St Louis and dealing with the insurance company. Dr. Movahed's staff was very helpful on both accounts. Jaw surgery is a major operation, and you want the best. In my opinion, Dr. Movahed proved to be the best with my daughter's life-changing operation.

When they say you have to be mentally prepared for jaw surgery, they MEAN IT!…read more   I was terrified to have jaw surgery! So terrified that that I put it off for over 20 years. After needing braces for the third time, I was introduced to Dr. Movahed. I was extremely hesitant to meet with him, and I only agreed to the consultation to appease my orthodontist. To my surprise, I agreed to meet a Dr. who completely change my mind about surgery. From my first visit, until now (9 months post-op), Dr. Movahed and his staff have been EXCEPTIONAL. The entire process was very smooth and I always felt like they truly took the time to get to know me and my needs, which put me at ease during the entire process.   Following my procedure, Dr. Movahed and his nurse practitioner were always a call or text away. I never felt confused about the process nor did I feel neglected in my care or communication regarding the procedure and recovery.   I felt like it was very critical to follow ALL of the "rules" after surgery. I was very intentional about following the instructions, and my recovery went very smoothly. Some days were mentally rough, due to the limited diet you have to follow; however, with Dr. Movahed and my personal support system/family it was doable. Overall, I am beyond grateful that I went through with the procedure. I went into the procedure expecting minor changes to my profile, but the results are far better than anyone anticipated (for the better)! Dr. Movahed is truly more than just a doctor, he is an artist! One that takes pride in his work and is just as invested in each and every patient as they are in themselves.   If you are considering surgery (or highly against it like I was ) I recommend scheduling a consultation with Dr. Movahed and giving him a chance to walk you through the experience as he did with me.

He was the kindest and sweetest man and took great care of me. I was not sedated the first go around as my veins are hard to find and he didn't want to keep sticking me. So he numbed me up really good and gave me some laughing gas. The process of removing my lower wisdom teeth was fairly quick. I did get dry socket and had to come back for treatment. The staff were very friendly as well. A few years later I returned and had the same experience. Pleasant as always. This time it hurt a little more as my upper wisdom teeth were removed and they were impacted. The healing process took a little longer than the first time. I got to interact with Dr.Herbosa, as I had to go back due to some pain and discomfort. He was nice and pleasant to deal with as well.
