He showed me his receipt, from Boomers audio, in NH and confirmed the % tint. However, my receipt from carisma showed no such details apart from the services provided. I went back to carisma to inquire about my tint % and below is are the details from the response(s) I received from the owner: 1. They provided me with 40% tint. When i requested 35% 2. When i asked about why 40%, i was told that my factory windows are by default tinted by 5% so they use 40% for a final tint of 35% 3. After the fact that my tints were not the percentage i requested, ( confirmed with my dealership the windows were NOT tinted 5%), the owner stated that for me to get the darkness what i ORIGINALLY wanted, he would have to charge me the SAME price for the work as well as an additional charge for removal of the wrong tint that they installed!!! A month had not passed, but carisma conveniently states on the receipt , which does not detail the product provided, that refunds on services is contingent on owner approval. So it was obvious that i could not go that route of demanding a refund . It would have been a nice gesture to at least meet me halfway with a reduced cost for the service, considering that their explanation of their tints was given to me after the issue was brought up. I am instead using the money to have the tints service done the right way with honesty and integrity through boomers audio in merrimack, NH. They even offered a reduced quote of services when they heard my story. Hopefully this review can be used as a tool for service improvement for carisma and to ensure that any customer will not have to have the feeling that i had upon purchasing a car service or product. I had Audiowerks install the audio system in my 2018 F-150. After experiencing inconsistent sound,…read moreweak bass, and speakers that sometimes sounded blown, I recently brought the truck to another professional shop for diagnosis. They found that the amplifier had an internal input-channel failure, the amplifier ground needed to be replaced, and the subwoofer input had been configured to derive its signal from the factory front and rear channels instead of using the dedicated subwoofer RCAs. The sub gain had also been turned nearly all the way up, apparently compensating for bass cancellation and reduced output. The new shop replaced the amplifier, ran a proper dedicated ground, corrected the input configuration, and retuned the system. The speakers I thought were blown now sound fine. I can't prove that the original ground caused the amplifier to fail, so I'm not going to claim that it did. However, I'm disappointed that another shop had to correct the grounding, signal routing, and tuning from the original installation. I'm leaving this review so other customers know exactly what was found and can ask the right questions when having similar work done.

Went in for a grinding and sqeaking noise coming from my cars rear wheel. At this time the owner…read moreheard the grinding noise and replaced the pads and rotors on both rear wheels. The very next day I called back because the grinding noise was still happening. I was told the new brake pads need to break in. Three months later called back, the noise is still happening. I make another appointment, leave my car for another day and now I'm told the owner can't hear anything but if there is a noise its from rust building up over night and it just grinds off in the morning. Bottom line, the owner doesn't fix anything, only replaces parts you don't need. Do not bring your car here if you need a real mechanic or brake expert! You will only hear an angered owners excuses when he has no answers for you.
