I came to Micorp Custom Auto for the latter and boy...they did NOT disappoint! I was impressed with these dudes almost from the very start due to their wicked fast responsiveness. After sending out my "Yelp feelers" (as I do) to gather some quotes, they were basically the ONLY business to reply with an actual, tangible price. Meanwhile, one business replied with (I kid you not), "Yes, I can install that for you."...which told me absolutely nothing. At another point, I thought I would go with Boomer Nashua since they were closer to us. But after getting NO response from neither their Yelp mailbox nor a direct email via their site, it was clear I needed to seek greener pastures. But, I digress. MCAT's location is a quaint little shop that's a bit tucked in with a street sign so small, you'll miss it if you blink once (or at least, I did). They're open only on weekdays, but their results are second to none. Now, I had already successfully (not to mention painfully) installed a custom fitted front dash cam in my car. I needed a rear cam installed by a professional who knows how to hardwire a cable with the utmost subterfuge. Recognizing such a task was clearly above my pay grade, I deferred to MCAT's expertise. Sufficed to say, these guys rock! They gave me an hourly rate upfront (which came to $150 per hour). And for those wondering, they do offer a lot of their own parts, though it looks to be mainly audio accessories and other things. Let my experience be proof, however, that you can totally show up with your own technical inventory and have them install it for you. At which point, you need only consider the labor cost. This is the most bottom line, upfront pricing I've ever seen and it's awesome! Why can't more businesses be this straight forward? Anyone who needs some type of electronic item installed onto their vehicle, I'd highly recommend this place right here. Just describe to them precisely what you need and they'll give you a quote with an ETA to boot. Also, shout out to the technicians on site that day for being so chill. I did two cars with them and there was an issue each time…read more With the Durango due to bad scheduling on their part I had to bring the vehicle back a couple times. Due to they could not complete the work. I was told I would have stripes from hood, roof and back. They did not tell me they could not do this and did not mention it when picking up the vehicle. I noticed it later and when calling to ask why. I was told they could not due it because of the roof design. Yet I was charged the same rate. My tail lights were supposed to be tinted and it was not done. The Infiniti similar situation and decided to wait until they can actually do the job in the agreed timeframe. We walked through what was needed I was even called again to talk through what was needed and it was messed up. Showing them what was wrong. The wrap on the doors within a few days started peeling and coming off. I was told it would be corrected when the wrapper is back from vacation I texted and was told it would be set once the wrapper came back from vacation. I called a week later and was told the wrapper is back and when trying to schedule the corrections needed I was given the run around and was told I will be called in two days. Well I'm still waiting for the call for them to schedule and correct what was done wrong. It comes down to the communication, service honoring the work done and when an issue arises work with the customer to resolve the issue. Don't ghost the customer. I've spent almost 3k on the vehicles and both have issues. I would love for the owner to reach out to me. I've called and asked to speak to the owner but that has not taken place. I chose this shop based on price and reviews. Before scheduling, I emphasized that I wanted all…read moreglass tinted with Xpel prime XR plus and I was told "yes." When I arrived, I again reviewed what we had discussed over text, specifically "all glass," and Xpel prime XR plus. I was reassured and confirmed. When I picked up the car, I paid more than the agreed quote but when they brought it out, I saw that only part of the glass was tinted. Instead of honoring the agreement, they offered to add two smaller pieces as a workaround, but I had made it clear from the start that I wanted one-piece tint. They could not deliver what was originally promised, despite multiple confirmations. I asked for a refund, I was denied and forced to reschedule for a later date to fix their mistake. To make things worse, when I got home, I tested the tint with a meter and discovered they did not use Xpel Prime XR plus film as agreed. If Xpel ceramics was used the IRR should show close to around 97% but Instead shows a much lower quality, they bait-and-switched me with a cheaper non ceramic film to maximize their profit. Also the more I look at the windows the more imperfections and bad cuts I find. This was misleading, unprofessional, and dishonest.
