They offered the deep cleaning service that I was interested in but on one side of my mouth. Primarily focusing on one tooth. With my insurance the total would have been over $400. I have had deep cleanings done before on my entire mouth and paid no more than $250 with my insurance. They proceeded to offer over $7000 worth of dental service for the removal of one tooth and a bone graft. I declined. I asked for just the cleaning my insurance allows. The doctor came back and asked me if I understood what they were offering. I was offended given I have a PhD and far from short of understanding. When I again declined the excessive service, the hygienist moved on to another patient. The doctor stated she would offer a one time "complimentary" cleaning. I wasn't asking to be comped any services and my insurance pays for 2 cleanings a year. They sent in the lady who did my x-rays to use an oscillating toothbrush on the front of my teeth only. Then she said she was done. I was not flossed nor did she clean the back of my teeth. Their "cleaning" service lasted less than 2 minutes. I called my insurance company immediately after, they stated if there was a medical need for the services, they would cover it. I called them back for a diagnostic code for the insurance company, they could not give me one because "diagnostic codes are for medical purposes", which means the services offered were not medically necessary. I went back to my usual dentist who deemed the services unnecessary and fixed my tooth as I originally asked for.

It was the first time I realized she could not take constructive criticism. It was clear that it was aggression and I should've pressed charges. She's very passive aggressive and I think a lot of her reviews come from people who aren't paying attention to the details. Our insurance has changed several times in those years, but thank goodness they've always been in network. We take advantage of our cleanings every 6 months and always find the perfect time spots when we schedule that far in advance. My girls were about 3 and 6 when we started coming and always have had positive experiences. I was told by friends about pediatric dentists, but since Dr. Suadi was more convenient for us, we all went here. It is hard to compare dentists and prices I have tried. Dina supposedly hi as you a reduce price…read morefor dental work but many time what you get done at the dentist and what you pay does not match the prices Dina advertises. For example according to Dina a crown would be $567 but I never get out of the dentist at that price. The dentist is allowed to add fees not on the Dina list like "lab" and they can charge anything they want for that so the end resulting price is the same with or without insurance. So I cannot tell if this is a hood deal or a waste of my money.
