A family…read morewas involved in a vehicle transaction with Eddy's Toyota November 2024, and has uncovered what appears to be major irregularities surrounding both their trade-in vehicle and their financial transaction paperwork. According to documents reviewed after the sale, the family's Toyota Prius does not appear anywhere on the final vehicle contract as a trade-in, despite the family allegedly surrendering possession of the vehicle during the transaction. Compounding the concerns, the contract also allegedly fails to reflect a separate $7,000 down payment made by the family toward the purchase. The family shared bank records clearly showing the payment was made. The situation became even more troubling after information surfaced suggesting the Prius may later have been sold in a private-party transaction for approximately $5,000, allegedly involving the dealership's finance manager. At the same time, approximately $6,400 in finance and backend products reportedly appeared within the transaction documents. The buyers, according to those familiar with the situation, faced significant language barriers and did not speak fluent English, raising additional concerns about whether the terms, products, and financial structure of the transaction were fully understood or properly disclosed. If confirmed, the circumstances could raise serious questions involving trade-in accounting, consumer disclosures, finance practices, and potential deceptive conduct.

The bank denied the loan, and it took me a whole month just to get them to swap the vehicle. That dealership is a complete disaster--it was nothing but back-and-forth hassle every single day. They finally exchanged the car for an even worse one--one with a busted transmission--and I actually had to pay *more* money. I also traded in my old car; they gave me one valuation for it initially, but then later told me it was worth a different, lower amount. So, be careful--think it through very carefully before buying a car at that place. Within one month of purchase (2024), I noticed oil spots in my driveway and the engine warning light illuminated. Additionally, the rear AC control was not functioning properly. I promptly brought the vehicle in for repairs, only to find that after the service, the engine light came on again, the rear AC control remained faulty, and the only issue resolved was the oil leak. Despite these ongoing problems, I continued to rely on your service department and had the vehicle scheduled for additional repairs multiple times. Most recently, in September 2025, I scheduled repairs for several issues, including the engine light, a squeaking noise from the front end, windshield wipers that would not turn off, and transmission problems. It has now been over two weeks, and no repairs have been completed. Furthermore, the extended warranty I purchased through your dealership, which was supposed to cover transmission repairs, remains unapproved by the warranty company. Additionally, the warranty excludes coverage for any other vehicle issues I have encountered, leaving me responsible for significant expenses despite my expectation of comprehensive protection. This experience has caused considerable inconvenience, financial strain, and loss of confidence in your dealership's commitment to quality and customer care. I have had the vehicle at Park City and Derby locations for "repairs". I purchased the vehicle at the west location in Wichita.
