Now im thinking i should have just gone in coughing and sneezing to share with everyone. The phone receptionist was rude from the begining with her tone of voice informing me that I would get a 50.00 charge because i didnt call over the weekend and leave a voice mail or text telling a machine that I was sick and had to cancel my 4:00 appointment for the following monday. This made no sense to me and i questioned why calling when they were closed would have been better than calling in the am the day of. Regardless of the silly policy, she argued with me like I was a child and was doing something wrong and needed reprimanded. Then she said i was yelling at her which was impossible because i had a raw, hoarse voice from coughing all weekend. I work in the medical field and when my patient calls off due to illness, i voice concern for their well being, i do not berate them for not knowing or understanding their policy. She made me feel like I was a child and I do not appreciate that from someone who is the face and voice of a respected practice.

If you want a doctor and staff who are committed to helping you be the best you can be this is the place to go. I learn something new every time I leave an appointment! For example, I had lots of knee pain and Kim Kish suggested testing my calcium level - and found I was very low. We added a calcium supplement and I got results quickly and my pain is gone! Wow, I had gone to a bone dr for the severe knee pain (I was limping) and he did tests, suggested couple rest for several weeks and then told me I needed to take an anti-inflammatory on a regular basis and I would probably still have pain at times and would need to watch my exercise, take it easy and ice my knee when in pain. Way better to take calcium and no anti-inflammatory! Honestly, I have gone back to regular exercise and pain never stops me now. Thanks, Kim Kish! I have also seen Dr. Rohde and can tell you he really listens to you - and he treats the whole person, not just one symptom. I finally got my husband to change to him and one the first visit Kim told him how to help lower his blood sugar by watching white potatoes, white bread and white rice. He's nowhere near deabetes but he listened to her and is taking her advice. His previous dr never told him anything like that. Another example that Dr. Rohde and his staff listen to the patient. And on top of all this, I never sit in the outer office or the exam room for an extended amount of time - usually in and out within 45 minutes. Will never leave Dr. Rohde and Kim Kish!

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. From my very first appointment, Dr. George Liu…read morewas calm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He immediately made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in the best possible hands. He asked all the right questions, listened to my concerns, and explained everything in a way that made me feel completely at ease and fully informed. What really stood out to me was how quickly everything happened -- I got a call on a Monday, saw him on Thursday, and had my surgery the following Monday. That kind of responsiveness showed he took my condition seriously and cared about getting me the help I needed without unnecessary delays. The surgery itself went perfectly. Afterward, Dr. Liu even thanked me for trusting him to perform it -- and that small gesture said everything about his character. His kindness, humility, and genuine care made a lasting impression. His staff was just as wonderful -- professional, respectful, and efficient -- and the office was spotless and well-organized. Dr. Liu also followed up with me twice after surgery. I honestly expected only one check-in, but he went above and beyond to make sure my recovery was on track and that I knew exactly when I could return to normal activities. That extra level of care gave me so much confidence and peace of mind. Dr. George Liu is truly the best-case scenario you could hope for in a surgeon -- skilled, compassionate, and sincerely invested in his patients' well-being. I would recommend him a thousand times over.

To list a few..While in labor the SIU Dr. came in and told me to be a grown up about the pain. After three of their doctors were not able to deliver my daughter a Dr. from a different hospital had to come and save the day and the life of my baby. That morning I had an appointment with them and they failed to check me and missed obvious signs of being in labor. Another time my daughter fell out of bed and landed on a wooden book holder. It made a cut on her neck and SIU treated me as though I did something to her. I ended up bringing in the wooden book holder just to prove my point. I went in for chest issues and they misdiagnosed me with anxiety smh. Three weeks ago I make an appointment and tell them I believe I have a blockage in my intestines. They ignored my suggestion and sent me home with a misdiagnosis of acid reflux. Two days later I was rushed in for emergency surgery for a blockage in my intestines. Never ever again will I go to SIU!!!!

Dr Tuan and his staff have been patient and phenomenal in my process. It's the best referral from the hospital I could have been given. Dr Tuan really listened to my needs, issues and concerns. Recommended an MRI, thank god he did because I wasn't healed as previously told by another, was actually in pain for months, working for hours full time on my feet barely able to walk. I was able to get my MRI, have surgery and the next day after healing was night and day for my swelling leg. The swelling that I had for over 6 months in my knee was gone! I can't thank Dr Tuan enough for helping me I'm still in the healing/recovery process but I'm already happy with my results. Every office visit I've had the wait is decent. I would highly recommend this Dr to anyone
