Took lots of time with me to listen and understand my problems, did X-rays, reviewed all my medical documentation, determined that the cause of my pain is the IM rod in my tibia, was able to give me a detailed and logical explanation for why he could not do surgery to remove the rod, and gave me suggestions for how to manage the pain given that surgery was not an option. Night and day experience. If you need an OS in Lansing, I highly recommend Dr. Waterbrook.

ORS tailored an exercise routine for me to do at home. They supplied me with resistance bands. These allow me to do exercises anywhere...even when I'm traveling. He immediately decided to perform a tibial tubercle transfer and a lateral release. Recovery was TOUGH. Hip to ankle cast for eight weeks, then countless hours regaining strength and flexibility. But without a doubt, the smartest thing I've ever done. The knee has been stable ever since. Not a single pop. Now, six years later, I am having some unrelated knee pain and decided to have it checked out. You can imagine my joy when the world renowned doctors at Kerlan Jobe in Los Angeles continuously complimented the beauty of my surgery after viewing my X-rays and MRI. Could not be more pleased with the work of Dr Zand.

She was screaming bloody murder because he was cutting all the way through the cast and into her skin with the saw. She was cut by the blade 10 times. I was told to bring in my X-rays I had done so he could compare them to what he was supposed to do and wouldn't do it. He told me my shoulder should be stretched until I cried and that my other one looked the same. But I can move the other one without issue and without pain. So no, not actually true! I've been dealing with shoulder pain for 5 months and he's just making me wait too long to get answers I need. I don't appreciate doctors who try to give you the run around. Don't recommend this office at all for Dr. McDermott. I had already waited 6 weeks to see him and should have had a mri done while waiting to see him so now I would know my answers I needed. So now I have to wait another month to figure out what the problem is. He's not helpful! Getting refered to someone else because I don't trust this guy. He's terrible!

I'm on the road to improvement - I'm not 100% yet, but for the first time in 7 years, I see a light at the end of the tunnel.
