For some reason, dermatologists always seem to make you wait forever when you have an appointment. This is not the case with Dr. Hughes. I am always seen in a reasonable amount of time. She is also soooo gentle. I hardly feel it when she injects the Botox. She is so sweet and really cares about her patients. And the office even called me after my most recent appointment to make sure everything went ok. She also has an open house about once a year where you can pre-purchase different services such as botox for a reduced price.

Super nice doctor at an office complex very close to my employer (and home)…read more Dr. Franckle was super nice, and I believe, judicious. This visit was for a free consultation. The appointment was approximately 20 minutes long. The quote that Dr. F. gave me seemed reasonable and I trust him, per my referral. I had a severe case, and while other surgeons seemed nervous or apprehensive to me work on me, Dr. Franckle was very confident and didn't seemed fazed by the task. Dr. Franckle also provides excellent feedback. Every text I sent him, post operation, I got quick feedback. He answered all my numerous questions with nothing but patience and knowledge. Shout-out to the office team. Terri has an infectious and positive personality. Dealing with her is sure to put a smile on one's face. Brenley did a great job interfacing with my job, for time off needed. Dominique was helpful in ensuring I had proper cream and wrap, to leave with. Take note, anyone from North, Central Jersey and NYC. Dr. Franckle provides excellent, quality work for great, affordable pricing - all right of I-95. I can't thank him, Terri, Brenley, and Dominique enough. I wish I knew about this place way sooner. I enjoy coming here for post operation appointments, as I made friends for life here.

Well, I'm back into pierced earrings! Yay! I started this journey back in August when I went to…read moreDr. Spears to have my left earlobe repaired. The ear had been split for several years, and I wore clipped earrings until I decided to get the ear repaired. Today, the stubs came out, and I finally saw the results. Amazing! My earlobe is healed, and I am ready to wear pierced earrings again. Believe it or not, it's been about 30 years since I wore pierced earrings! The care was phenomenal. Dr. Spears is an A-1 plastic surgeon and a female to boot. The staff members are the nicest people you ever want to meet. Customer service is exceptional, above and beyond what you typically get in a doctor's office. Reminder notifications are sent in a timely fashion. Staff will take the time to personally phone you if there are concerns or a missed appointment. But most of all, the team relates to patients on a personal level. Today, I called to change the appointment time, and Stephanie, the office manager, asked me about a health concern I shared with her during one of my visits. She then said she had thought of me and prayed for my recovery. It was so lovely of her to say that to me. All of the staff members demonstrate that level of personal care and concern. There is very little wait time. I have only waited up to 15 minutes to see the doctor. I have always been seen within a reasonable time frame of my appointment time. I can't say that for most practices. The office is clean, and the decor is warm and inviting. I don't know if I will have reason to use a plastic surgeon again, but if I do, and the concern fits her expertise, I'm there! I'll find some reason to go back! Thanks to Dr. Spears and the entire team at Metropolitan. Leslie Morris

Many years ago, I went under the knife with Dr Lo and when I woke up, I was given larger breasts…read morethan I asked for because he said "they looked better". For many years, I have hated the size and my body when I look in the mirror. I never wanted larger breasts than I asked for. Dr. Lo is misogynistic and uses patriarchal control over women to get what he wants and to get his after photos to his liking; disregarding a woman's mental health, bodily autonomy and well being. Here I am, and for many years I have not had the money to fix them to how I personally wanted them originally. For myself. I have been in a lot of emotional pain for many years. (As well as a sub muscular tear which made my breast migrate into my armpit. I know the size must have contributed. I have never lifted heavy weights). I wanted to have small breasts all along and I believe I'd look great with them. Dr Lo's opinion of how he thinks a woman's body should look is degrading and speaks volumes about the type of man he is. A woman's voice is SO IMPORTANT when going under the knife, under anesthesia. No matter the shape or size of a woman, we glow most beautifully when we love ourselves in our body, get to have our own independence and be able to think for ourselves. No man should be able to take over you as soon as he puts you out and make MAJOR life altering decisions. Do not trust Dr. Lo with your body, he is just going to do what he wants or what he thinks "looks better" for you. And you might just wake up confused, in pain and unhappy for the next 20 years.

Only reason why I am giving two stars is because the initial breast augmentation was aesthetically…read morepleasing. Otherwise, one star would be left. I do not know where to start. Wide eyed and bushy tailed, I walked into my initial consultation several years ago and inquired about breast implants. I was determined to not have scars (shame on me for not doing more research; however, I trusted the "professionals"). They're great until something goes wrong or you are unhappy. First of all, under the armpit incisions are not the best way to go about putting something into the chest cavity. I mentioned I had some nerve damage and couldn't feel my entire arm down to my pinky for a year post procedure and was told this was caused by something else (not true) it was nerve damage from the implants, which has left me with numbness and arm pain to this day. The implants were also slightly squished after getting an MRI and were too large for my body as a whole. Almost immediately after I had this procedure, I experienced a wide array of symptoms, starting with the nerve damage, numbness and hair loss. I was a bodybuilder prior to the procedure and afterwards, could not do push ups or chest workouts anymore due to the damage they caused. The implant would freeze and almost cramp on the side I had issues with. After three years of Breast Implant Illness symptoms and nearly my entire body shutting down, I knew I had to do something after ruling nearly everything else out. I called and asked if Dr. Lo did implant removal and was told I could come in for a consultation. At this point, I was desperate to just have my life back. It was so bad that I could barely walk some days - from brain inflammation, to mitochondrial damage, hair loss, food allergies, brain fog, the list goes - Breast Implant Illness IS REAL. I went in for my consultation and was nearly in tears because I could hardly function and never knew what the day would bring only to have Dr. Lo smirk and mock what I was telling him. I said "are you mocking me?" And he stated he is a traditional doctor and treats symptoms. He said he could do the removal then back tracked and referred me to someone else (who I did not go to because any referral from a Doctor who mocks and laughs at you in a time of need is not one I would trust). His bedside manner during a time of distress and desperation was deplorable. My mother was in the room with me and she was nearly in tears afterward with the way he spoke and belittled my reality. I am floored that this is the way he treated someone who simply wanted to know the options for removal. There are tens of thousands of women whose bodies reject implants and if a doctor is too ignorant to recognize this then I would walk the other way. I would never recommend him to anyone. I ended up having them removed with a doctor in Bucks County and finally have my life back. YES the SYMPTOMS that you claim to "treat" have diminished and some completely disappeared already. If you treat "symptoms" then understand THE IMPLANTS were the issue because I feel like a human being again and everything has nearly gone away six months later. Wake up to the reality that implants are not safe and check your bedside manner.
