They will know what exactly the price they will pay for their personal freedom. I am hoping you will have time to read my review about why I am here at backfit. In having a lifetime of labor-intensive careers and extreme lifestyle hobbies you will understand where my chronic pain came from. In reading this review I am also hoping I am able to inspire you to explore the new client openings with anyone of the Backfit specialists that are available. My opinion of what a chiropractor's job is; is not about curing people's chronic pain, it is about accelerating the individuals natural healing abilities. Each session will align the spinal cord to promote blood flow to any one of their injuries which will create natural balance throughout the body. If you are reading my point of view, I know you are looking for either relief, hope, healing, even restfulness from your chronic pain. I will fast tract my reason I am at backfit. From 1972 to 2014 were my years of opportunity, where I lived fast and furious, looking for work and trying new hobbies with new challenges in every career I accepted. With success I had a lifetime of challenging opportunities in the industrial world. Sometime in 2015, I woke up with crazy pain in my joints. It was early arthritis setting in. I had not planned to deal with arthritis. (I do not think anyone in the world wants to deal with arthritis or chronic pain for that matter.) In finding the relief for my high impact chronic pain symptoms. I have gone to walk-in clinics, specialist doctors, naturopathic doctors' Orthopedic surgeons, friends, and arthritis clubs, to find any answers that would work. My results were not beneficial. They were all about tests, x-rays, talking, new client referrals and pain medication. If you have read this far, I know you have been though things like I have. I invite you to read on. To the how I did it. In December of 2023, I picked up a business card called Backfit, with a simple invite of a gift of $75.00, for an intro treatment at their office. Okay! , let us see what this business Backfit, has to offer; from reading their online reviews to checking out the BBB reports; This company claims that they will fix your spinal cord if given a chance. My first wish was simple: I want to walk and stand up-straight with no pain. On my 4th month I could stand up straight and walk with no issues. I will still be working with Backfit to align my spine, so I no longer deal with the back pain. If you are still interested in Backfit, please read on. What no one tells you when you decide to go on a life changing program .... So, listen up: The hardest thing anyone will accomplish while in chronic pain is the changing of old habits. (I cannot stress this enough). Making new habits will take all your willpower and imaginative skills. It will be a huge effort for any person that has suffered long term chronic pain. My advice to you is to make yourself happy. Once you are okay and happy inside then the rest of your work will be okay. a) Making and keeping schedules b) Sustainable Goal setting and completing them is ridiculously hard when our world as we know it is so busy. c) Stop! Just stop! Take a look at what you are doing at the moment the pain hits you. (EVALUATE!)! Where does it come from exactly? d) Physical vs psychological are quite different worlds, be aware of where your pain is coming from. Once you know how to describe this pain and the location of it; then Backfit can alter their alignments to deal with that specific location. Keep inventing new habits every day until the old ones you do not like are gone. I am still going through this today, (it is May 2024), tossing out the old and inventing the new. My Last words of encouragements to the readers who made it this far. Take a breath, a sip, stretch your legs and read on. Trust in yourself If you can think of it, you can do it. In the backfit program there are new habits and hard lessons to accomplish. A ton of interesting reading material about the spinal cord vs human being's willpower. Who knew? To relearn your original life's rhythms all over again I can tell you it is going to be extremely hard. You must have a huge amount of discipline and belief that it will work. I saw my progress in about 4 days. I am truly fortunate. Once Backfit s specialists help you complete your first steps, you will be well on your way. Try to keep your back alignments and workouts on a regular time schedule. If you do achieve this (I know you will!) I asked if my partner could use the wobble chair while we waited and she completely blew us off. I say that to say, I'm pretty familiar with acupuncture & the many techniques that accompany it. For 7 out of those 9 years, my dominant complaint was pain, heaviness, & limited mobility to my right shoulder. The issue would resolve for about a year, then come back- mimicking frozen shoulder. As a registered nurse, I knew the trials & tribulations of rotator cuff surgery, as well as the contraindicated risks of chronic pharma consumption. Thus, my main priority revolved around a more holistic alternative. Approximately 2 weeks ago, I was traveling to Victoria, when suddenly, I was unable to move my right arm. The immobility & pain almost put a damper on the trip. Luckily, the owner of Victoria Community Acupuncture & Spa, Joleen Kraft, managed to squeeze me in for a last minute emergency acupuncture appointment. There are no words that can, in totality, describe Joleen. Her knowledge & expertise surpassed any service I could imagine. Unfortunately, when I showed up for my appointment, ​things did not go well. She was more than 20 minutes late for my booked appointment time, and offered no explanation or apology. I came in for help with my snoring issues, and Jane informed me (in the waiting area, with out having even looked) that I had throat polyps, and there was nothing she could do to help. Then she left. She was rude and dismissive, all this after I had patiently waited for 20 minutes! I trusted her judgment, and went to an ear nose and throat specialist. I do not have throat polyps. My experience at your spa was disappointing to say the least. I will not be returning.
