I provided my insurance information and filled out a ton of forms that were sent to me via text. In addition, the doctor's off phoned me two days prior to confirm. Upon arrival at the scheduled appointment, my daughter was notified that the dentist does not participate with our insurance and they are willing to provide the service at a discounted rate. We felt bamboozled! The staff knew all along and did not inform us until the day of the visit. I was fortunate enough to get another appointment elsewhere on the same day with a physician that takes our insurance. This procedure can cost up to $4,000. Lesson learned...I will contact my insurance company directly to verify coverage. Clearly, the staff does not effectively communicate with one another. Beware! If you have insurance, call your Carrier directly.

I was quite uncomfortable. Wound up with a dry socket. I am in agony. The office was a bit rude when I told them how I was feeling better and then started to feel worse. They won't give any pain medication....told me just take advil and Tylenol. Nothing is helping. I understand the opioid crisis and doctors are afraid to prescribe....but to let people suffer is wrong. Nothing worse than being in pain.

This is my first day post surgery and I have to say my discomfort is even less than he described. Needless to say I am thrilled that's the case. The office was quiet, clean, and comfortable and the staff was very kind. I definitely would want to have Dr. Fleishman do any additional oral surgery should I (hopefully never) need it , and would certainly be happy to recommend him to anyone who should need an oral surgeon.

The procedure I needed had me concerned since I made the mistake of looking it up online. I have to say that every member the office staff is spectacular. Dr Mancuso himself is highly skilled. He took time to answer all my questions and in doing so allayed my fears. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the two-hour procedure which was performed under local anesthetic. Despite having prior knowledge of what was being done, the procedure was painless during and after it was complete. There was surprisingly little to no discomfort during the healing process. In reality, it functioned as a bill -- full payment required before any work began. Four months later, after already paying in full, I was suddenly presented with a second treatment plan demanding substantial additional money. This was never clearly disclosed at the start. There was no transparency about total cost, sequencing, or expectations. At this point, I have paid thousands of dollars and do not have the implant I initially sought. There was no professional, sit-down consultation explaining the process from start to finish, and no financial consultation to walk through costs. Instead, Dr. Ludwig communicates sporadically while you're already in the treatment chair, which is not an appropriate or professional way to explain complex oral surgery or financial obligations. The office seems to expect patients to somehow already have a deep understanding of oral surgery -- yet they are very enthusiastic about taking payment. The entire experience felt shady, disorganized, and misleading. I would strongly urge prospective patients to ask for everything in writing and proceed with caution.
