There are freight trains padding by during the day, but not at night...at least we didn't hear them. Large mature trees, bathhouse (under remodeling), with plenty of space between sites. Restaurants, small shops, & even a golf course are nearby in Potter. Do stop here! We stayed 2 days & loved every minute.

We had good cell service here on Verizon. The camping pads are fairly level. You have water, electricity(50 and 30 amp), and sewer. I didn't see a picnic table at our sight. The other campers were very quiet. Most of them seemed to be long-term. They went to work early, and came back around dinner time to crash. The trains were not quiet! They came pretty frequently. They didn't keep us awake, which was surprising being that close. There is a toilet house which we didn't inspect, but it looked good from the outside. There are no local television stations to tune in to, and I didn't see cable hook-ups. The staff were friendly and very helpful. All-in-all, it was a good place to spend the night.

I don't like to write negative reviews and this is my 1st but sadly this place went from just a…read moredirty dusty RV park to a total nightmare. We are full-time RVers so we have stayed in a park or 2 - Without boring you with too much detail... After staying there 4 months I experienced needing the help of the owner/manager (Kelsi). Help that came with a hefty price tag. I was told that her husband had turned off my water and forgotten to turn it back on and their solution was that I go outside (in the dark) and turn it on or wait until they came back to town. Being alone, almost 80, and not too firm on my feet, was unimportance to her. I went without water for 16 hours and she was incensed that I dared to be frustrated with the lack of help and I was told we were not a good fit for the park and we should leave. They are absentee managers and don't want to help their residents. I know I'm not the 1st or even the 2nd to experience Kelsi's wrath and leaving was a bonus for us. Sadly, this child has no management/customer service skills. So to end with a word, of warning be aware and don't cross her.

He lady called me twice while I was riding over knowing I was in a bike. This is advertised as a RV only site. When I booked the reservation I asked if here were restrooms and showers she said there was. Well she lied. I had to use the welcome center restroom a couple of times. It's across the street. The rest of the place is a dump. Poorly maintained and a wreck. The last review from 6 years ago said it was being remodeled. Ahhh no that's not happening. I am grateful I had somewhere to set up my tent, behind an old POS house next to the road and the grass hadn't been cut for awhile. As a last resort, and the traffic on 80 is too busy to set my tent up in the median. I would consider sleeping under a bridge first.

The positive is there is the Pine Bluffs distillery across the road. It's really cool. I posted a few pics of the weeds. This is a 1 star campground
