Ms. Nazli and her team are all phenomenal with the babies, and they truly loved my daughter during her time at MCHL. We had to make the difficult decision to transfer her due to my work office changing locations. We are very sad about this, but the positive impact her teachers and classmates have had on her is here to stay. Thank you to the staff at MCHL for showering our daughter with so much love during her experience. We are forever grateful.

From the staff to the teachers, owners, leadership and daily activity teachers they bring in, the days are incredibly well thought out. The rooms are set up incredibly well and children lack for nothing. In addition to the kids opportunities, the parents have seemed to get along incredibly and the PTA volunteers are active and create great participation. As a historic testimony to the growth and consistency of MCHL, we have 10 children on our block alone that span 12 years of MCHL with different teachers all having the same great experience. All of the other parents that we have met and known at MCHL seem to convey the same message. I recommend at the very least interviewing the staff and teachers at MCHL when it comes to making a decision for schooling.

There is never a time that I make an inquiry or voice a concern when it is not addressed promptly! I feel heard, never just dismissed. That is crucial. I sent the following note to management 2 months ago. And I like to wait to post reviews because all too often, you do that and folks start slacking. But no, everything has remained the same excellence! "I just want someone up the line to know that I am overflowing with happiness this week! I have watched [my child] in the app and my heart is filled with warm fuzzies. Ms. Helen and Ms. Wei are rocking the classroom! The children are so engaged! And they are doing so many things! What I am seeing in the app, without even exchanging words, is evidence that [my child] is receiving exactly the care and learning opportunities and adventures that I anticipated when I toured with Ms. Sabrina and opted to switch to this school! The main factors that drew me to Karter was the opportunity for [my child] to move around, not be stuck in one classroom all day and the varying enrichments to keep engaged. THIS is THAT and I LOVE it!! (Lots of exclamation marks, people!) I am very pleased with the situation; Ms. Stephanie is incredible and firm and loving; I have no complaints whatsoever! Maybe it's the candid photography this week that's peaking the good vibes, I just could not stay silent, I'm so glad [my child] is there! Yay Karter School!"

Aimee who is the director at this location will allow her son to assault your child and do absolutely nothing about it because she refuses to address unacceptable behavior coming from her own child. How can we trust our children in someone's care who operates like this? The family and I will be requesting a video of the assault that occurred on 7/22/24 at approximately 4pm. In-addition, I have email correspondence between Aimee and I regarding the incident where she stated "After viewing the video footage, I was able to get the context of the situation and I too was appalled at how long the situation went for without adult intervention." Please note that these are the exact words that came from Aimee herself. I appreciate her confirming that a copy of the video tapes exists so the family and I can view the video recording of the incident. Regards,

This school is like family. We have only been there a year and so far I am super impressed. My…read moredaughter was having some developmental delays that became more noticable as the school year went on. We worked with Loudoun Co and the special ed system to get her some outside help. The teachers and director at CKCP have been so supportive through this entire process. The teachers have gone above and beyond offering suggestions to help at home, and have even gone out of their way to introduce me to other parents with a similar situation. The director sometimes posts articles on the private website about parent tools and links to parenting blogs that I always enjoy. They have helped me learn to be a better parent. The teachers also post daily pictures and I loooooove seing what my sweet daughter is doing at school. It totally makes my day. My daughter loves going to school so much and even asks for her teachers on the weekends when we go to playgrounds. The price is exceptionally afforable for the 1st rate education she is receiving. The parent group, known as PACK are very involved and host a variety of fundraisers throughout the year including a fall fest with games and a Dr. Seuss themed birthday party for the entire school. I cant wait for another year there. We really have been blessed to find this place.

I can not recommend this school. The teachers are great....or I should say they "were" great but…read morethe director laid off these amazing people! I am heart-broken that they let such wonderful people go and I want the teachers to know that you all touched the hearts of your students and they will always remember you! It was a pleasure to watch my kid make friends and come home excited about the day. The school was recommended to me by other moms because of the great teachers and my child was so excited to go to school here. Now so many wonderful instructors, the heart and soul of the school, are gone. The director is taking the school in a "new direction" as per her email. Many incidents my child had at school during the extended day program called "Afternoon Adventures" were down-played or not mentioned at all because of a fear that they would lose money. Instead, when I asked about my child handling the extended day expressing my fears about missing naptime, I was told to teach my child self-regulation (a pamphlet was later sent home to all parents) and a friendly suggestion to move up the bedtime an hour instead of confirming my suspicions that all my child was needing was the usual afternoon nap. The teachers can not openly share with parents their concerns out of fear of this director/lost revenue. Not discussing concerns with parents was a sign that the teacher could properly handle and manage stress, turning the tables on the teachers, when the real problem was that many children still needed a rest period. Note to yourself that when your kids go to school here or anywhere else that caregivers are thinking this way. Sharing concerns about your child might result in loss of an important revenue stream. Situations are downplayed or left out of the conversation and at the end of the day all you are given is a "smile" and "have a nice day". Its up to you to "sense your way" through all of the real going-ons in your child's day yet with kids this age how can they communicate all of this. Leadership plays an important role in how much the organization is "allowed" to fufill their mission, in this case let the teachers teach without fear they are going to be axed. Do yourself a favor and choose another preschool in the area like Galilee or the local Community Centers are much better.

I have never felt more comfortable leaving my kids in the care of all of the amazing staff here. They are truly like one big family and they make all of their students feel part of that family. There is virtually no staff turnover which is unheard of at daycares. Lindsey (the director) is so amazing at her job she really does care for each and every student and parent. The communication on a day to day basis is great you can always message the teachers and check in at any time alongside receiving pictures/activity updates. I also wanted to mention the summer camp for K and older was an amazingly run program from the camp staff to the activities- they went on so many field trips and my son had the time of his life. So if you are looking for daycare, private K, or an afterschool program- GPA is by far the best choice!!!

My son who is now 5 years old, learned how to write his name on his own when he was 3 years old (with no help) from me! Now, he is still learning to write, being 5 years old, but I can see that he has very good handwriting in comparison to other children his age. I owe those kudos to Augusta school! They are also very reasonably priced and have great hours for those parents who are working full-time. Overall, they were very accommodating and felt more like family!
