During the same time that I was working on my new home, I knew of several other friends who were also renovating or remodeling their homes. I can say without hesitation that no one had the experience that I did. My home when I first purchased it and before remodeling started was in dire need of some major work. No central air, flooring was lopsided, structural foundation work had to be done, needed to change a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home into a 3 bed 3 full bath plus den home, needed to get permits, install a porch, redo the garage into an extra room, landscaping, etc. The list goes on. From the time my escrow was closed, to when everything was ready for move in, all of this was done in less than 4 months which is ridiculous in a time when materials and manpower was low. Friends who had half as much work to be done as I did spent over a year. In terms of costs, the speediness at which all this work was done saved me an incredible amount of money. In addition, every cost was stated very transparently, including any sudden, unforeseen changes or circumstances, as well as options to add, forego or make adjustments and those subsequent costs. Michael has decades of experience, and was crucial in thinking of things that I never would have that enhanced my home in ways I would not have imagined. He also is very very detail oriented and was always on site, making sure nothing, even small, seemingly insignificant things were overlooked. His staff was excellent, very communicative and knowledgable. He and his employees treated my home like their home, and the final product speaks for itself. Renovating a home can be extremely stressful especially when it is so hard to find a contractor you can trust. I had none of the experience that so many people had by working with Misong Construction, and would recommend them for any job.

I just have to say that they did an AMAZING job. They constantly had 4-5 guys working and the got done in less than three weeks. The entire team was very professional throughout and we just couldn't not be happier with the result! They even installed a chandelier that we had purchased. I would not hesitate to hire these guys for my next paint job!!

I had a very small job which consisted of a piece of wall for asbestos removal after water damage was done after a burst pipe. I didn't even know where to begin and people told me I could fix it myself, but I wanted a good job. He sent Alex the same day to give me an estimate. The price was very reasonable (according to my male friends lol) and Alex came on time. He told me it would take about an hour to do it and it took exactly that. He textured the wall beautifully to match so it didn't look like a huge patch of drywall. He did an excellent job!!! Steve has since followed up with me to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Steve saved me the stress by calling back quickly even though my job was very small and finishing it the next day. You don't know how much of a relief that is! He's extremely professional and if I ever need anything replaced this is the place to go!

If you like to stick to a schedule, scheduling with the company and trying to get in touch with them was awful. They would say that they would show up on Sunday at noon, and then never show up and never text to cancel. They would commit to showing up at 9-11am and then text me confused when I wasn't home to let them in at 3pm. I would text and call Sammy or whichever contractor I worked with and they wouldn't respond for days. The job was finished over a month ago and I am still trying to get a receipt, summary of work, and mold test results. They also left the demolition trash in my garage and told me they'd come back to throw it away (they never came back and I had to throw it away). Again, they do great work! But I personally wouldn't schedule with them again because of how frustrating communication and scheduling can be. I encourage them to clean up the logistical side of the house. Hire a scheduler and a dispatcher, send confirmation texts before the scheduling window, and send a text in advance if you can't make it on time or at all. Having the skills to remodel and repair is half of what someone is hiring when selecting a contractor. Being on time, organized, and reliable is the other half.

BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!!…read more We hired Fine Builders in May 2024 to remodel our home. We were promised the project would be completed in 5 weeks. As of February 2026, our house is torn apart (for the second time) and completely unlivable. We paid over $100,000 for this project. We were told the door frames would be replaced (they were not). They charged around $10,000 to change the doors and frames but the doors they installed did not fit in the frames. The electrical work is not up to code. Electrical boxes are left behind the stone slab with no access. Holes were drilled into our brand-new custom cabinets. They put tapes in order to paint properly and painted over the tapes instead of removing them. They painted our furniture, plants, and everything else in the house as if a 5 year old was doing the job. The employees in our home were highly intoxicated. The workmanship and oversight were extremely disappointing. When these issues became obvious, their contractor (who is apparently not even licensed) acknowledged the problems and promised to fix everything. Instead, the house was torn up again. His workers eventually stopped showing up because they had not been paid. During this time, we were sent copies of checks claiming they were deposits that would be used to pay the workers -- but the checks were altered/photoshopped. Meanwhile, the project stalled completely. The "contractor" is now unresponsive. We are left with a home that is in worse condition than when we started and significant financial loss. We deeply regret hiring Fine Builders and would strongly caution others to do thorough research before hiring.
