If there was a zero, I would select it twice...please do not rent unit 506, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. This unit is in need of a serious upgrade from interior furniture, balcony furniture and refrigerator. The chairs inside the unit are filthy, torn and worn, the sofa is filthy...the balcony has 3 rusted chairs and two tables that have holes in both, the grill doesn't work and full of cigarette butts and ashes. The refrigerators seal is broken and falls to the floor everytime you open the door. The wifi sucks and I was told it's because a lot of people are using the wifi, really that's why you upgrade to accommodate....again you have been warned, do not rent this unit 506 at Sterling Breeze in Panama City Beach..pictures and video available. read more

Ridiculous waiting time for elevator-one for 23 floors to move guests to and from. Dirty entrances to all floors-we checked. Staff at front desk are not helpful with any directions or questions. Parking garage desk was super. The HOA is terrible-would not recommend buying at this location if you are looking. Pool maintenance was great! read more

Service is mediocre at best. First day (Tuesday) no one at the desk by the parking garage hall, so a bit confusing where to go, then the next day resort security was finally around in their red shirts, but the lady by the parking garage shut off the automatic door buttons because it was letting hot air in when someone used them.. she was extremely rude to guests about the luggage Dollie's and kept them all locked up, literally telling guests "you better bring them back from upper floor or I will hunt you down". Elevator takes FOREVER, room is fine with minor issues but that's for the owner to deal with not the sterling breeze. The construction company at hotel knocked out the WiFi our first 2 days so that sucked for our trip as there is no cell signal in rooms, but resort management is moody and didn't care of inconvenience. read more

Horrible. Only one of the two elevators work and it's a full 40-45 minutes to do a round trip up and down. God forbid there's an emergency or you forget things. More than half of the people aren't wearing masks either. read more

The hotel was straight on the beach which was pretty amazing! The view was super nice as well! The bathrooms for the most part were nice, but not super clean. The couches and chairs didn't look super clean, we actually put a sheet over the couch for that reason. The kitchen had pretty much everything in there (utensil) wise and had all the pots and pans that we needed to cook. We could have maybe had more towels besides 2 in a bathroom. The bed was pretty comfortable; but the comforter didn't look that great, looked a little itchy, but we slept under the sheets. By the bed, there was a light outside that was pretty bright.. don't know how to control that; but was a tiny bit difficult to sleep with. Other than that, the people were nice in the front and at the concierge. The elevators were kind of stinky. One smelled like metal and then another leading to the actual hotel smelled like fish and people and just not good. Idk lol I would stay again though, it wasn't super horrible. read more

Worst condo customer service I have witnessed in a long time and it seems that Sterling Breeze in PC has been giving the same answer for the reason their second elevator has been broke down for over two years. Waiting on a part. The time you will waste waiting on their Only One Elevator that services 23 floors, will wear you out waiting. I just got home from my 3rd time wasting my money and time vacationing ar the Sterling Breeze in panama City, Florida. Theses people can't seem to get both elevators running at the same time. Three trips in a row. Same answer from the ladies at the front desk, ( we don't know what's going on with the broken elevator). They told my wife that they were waiting on a part! Can't complain with the condo we stayed in on the 23rd floor, great veiws and space. Our issues began with access to the floors. Two evelvators hardly big enough for luggage cart , and waiting time to go up or down the evelvators was a pain, took us over two hours to catch a evelvator to go down. They want let you unload or load at the entrance. You have to park in the garage come across street in order to get a luggage cart which was even more of a hassle when you had to wait on the elevator to go to the walk across or fight the traffic to go across the street. Not to mention the parking garage evelvator wasn't working. Beach chair rentals where out radius, $45.00 a day! We want ever stay here again due to the daily elevator hassle. read more

I had a pretty rough experience w/ an AIRB&B host just down the road from here but talked to Austin at their front desk and my vacation from Indiana was completely turned around. Being 12 hours away from home was stressful but Austin from Sterling Breeze was incredibly helpful on turning my vacation around. I will be coming back in the future. read more

I'm at sterling breeze condo room 1702 on the 17th floor it's just the most beautiful place and right in front of it is the most green and clear beach . It awesome to wake up in the morning have a cup of coffee in the balcony and enjoy the relaxing view, you really feel home it's not like staying in a hotel room. The condo is big with a real nice master bedroom nice size kitchen, bunk beds and another room with full size bath. It's just perfect for two or more. It's Very clean also has laundry room and we have a grill in the balcony. What can I say I will be back again and if anyone coming to Panama City beach I tell you, come to sterling breeze you will love it. read more

Very impressed! We booked our condo (1703) through Vacasa. The whole process was so easy! There was no check-in or check-out process, they just emailed the door code and cleaning instructions. Our condo was very clean and had everything we needed! Our condo even had beach chairs and an umbrella to use! We also had THE BEST view. There is super easy access to the beach, and the lady at the concierge desk was AMAZING! Every time I walk by, she calls me by my name (and we only stayed 3 nights). The location is perfect too! Very close to everything. The Tiki bar has very reasonable prices too on drinks and food. What is keeping me from giving 5 stars is the elevator and cleaning fee. There's only 2 for the whole building and one broke down while we were here so the wait was horrendous for an elevator. Since we were so high up, it wasn't ideal to take 17 flights of stairs. They seriously need to consider installing a few more elevators in this building. Especially during a pandemic. Having a crowded elevator is really unsafe. Also, the cleaning fee is ridiculous. I paid over $200 in random fees. There's no way it takes $150 to wipe down surfaces and clean sheets and towels. Otherwise, it was great! We would book here again and most likely in the same condo. read more

It was a nice size condo, we rented a 3 bedroom 2 bath. It had a nice kitchen, decent size master bedroom, family room, medium sized second bedroom and very small third bedroom with bunk beds. The view off the balcony was beautiful overlooking the ocean and beach. Unfortunately, there were a few issues. There are 2 elevators for 23 floors and each room past the 3rd floor was inconveniently located away from the beach. Then within the walls of the condo, no intent to repair damage or clean. For the price we paid and other people pay, there shouldn't be any reason for gouges out of walls or paint peeling or black mold. No upkeep or care. read more

This used to be a great place to stay. I can't say that anymore. I used to be greeted by the same faces year after year. No longer. Apparently, the company doesn't treat the staff right anymore as those familiar faces left years ago. This year the desk clerk had been there a month and the property manager 2 weeks. I have been staying here for the last 7 years and the company is now only interested in nickel and diming the customer instead of giving them "great value". When I first started going here, there was no Resort Fee. I paid it when it started. The non-refundable reservation fee went up from $35 to $55 this year. I paid it. The Resort Fee went from $21 to $33 this year. I paid it. A $40 Limited Damage Waiver has been added in prior years but I was always able to get that taken off and put down a $200 deposit instead. I don't need to pay for insurance I don't need or want. I asked this year and was told to speak with the resort manager who wasn't here for 2 days. When it was brought up to her, I was denied. Parking has always been free but now they want $5 for a parking pass. It's past the point of being ridiculous. You can get what appears to be a reasonable rate but when everything is added on, it's not good at all. In addition, the beach here has become very poor. The good areas in front of the resort are taken up by rental chairs (nickel and diming, again). To the right is a storm drain with nasty looking water. To the left the beach has been erroded away and there is a 3-4 ft sand cliff. You can stay on top and walk around to the water or try to stay on the flat area where the waves are but you can only do that at low tide. The beach has also become very narrow through this area. It needs refurbishment badly For people that bring their own chairs, you wind up 3 and 4 people deep in the few good areas not taken up by the rentals so your view is of someone else's umbrella instead of the ocean. This is no longer a good place to be. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else. to stay. I know I will. read more

I rented through a condo owner, so I won't rate the whole facility based on my condo (which was the bombdiggity, btw). Here's the scoop--great location (in theory, walking distance from Pier Park, but it's fricking hot man...gotta take the car), close to a grocery store, lots of dining options nearby. Nicely maintained facility. The elevators are a struggle during peak hours because the building is quite tall. Great gym. If you rent from the building, you can check out DVDs from a kiosk, but alas not if you rent by owner. The ONLY problem I have is that this stretch of beach (not just at this building) tends to have an algae problem in June. Further east towards Thomas seems to avoid the majority of the pod of funk. read more

We arrived at Sterling Breeze for a brief stay (4 nights) on Saturday 3pm local time in a one-bedroom condo. Check in was at 4pm, and they state No Early Check In, so we killed some time exploring. We found a wonderful but very crowded pool deck with spa, fire pit, and bar. Kids were everywhere littering the spa especially. I would suggest that if you don't want to be around screaming kids and crying babies, this wouldn't be the place for you. They also allow smoking, so again, if that's not for you, beware. We had our teenage daughters with us, and they found this place exhilarating! It's so full of energy and life! It's also so close to Pier Park which has tons of shopping and eateries. You can easily walk there - about 5 blocks, or if you drive, there's a large parking area just behind it. After finding our condo, we decided to try the code since it was just 3:20, and to our chagrin the code worked! Now we had to get our things. This is partly where the 4 stars come in. There is no drive up to the condo unit. You must park across the busy Front Beach road and either cross the street directly with your things, or use the 2nd story walkway. We chose the walkway, but again if you are carrying a ton of things, your arms are going to feel it as you go down and around two ramps and around the corner while you wait for the very busy elevator. I suggest you use rolling luggage and cinch-sacks for everything. You could try to wait for one of 2, yes that's right, 2 carts, but good luck. There are tons of people checking in around 4pm. After getting your things, the first thing we noticed is that the front desk is not there for you to check in - just to provide information. And they have very short hours, so if you need anything and you see them there, ask quickly. Sterling Breeze was also undergoing a makeover, so paint was being applied along with caulk on the outside walls. Once we stepped into our condo, however, things were very different. Our unit had been recently remodeled, so with the exception of the bedroom carpet and the bathroom wall, the condo was spectacular. All units have an ocean view, and though the balcony was crowded with furniture and a grill, it was a wonderful view onto the Gulf of Mexico. We used the balcony quite a bit during breakfast and late at night, finding people combing the beach at all hours. The door was extremely difficult to pull open - you will need someone strong to open the sliding glass door. The kitchen was appointed with everything we needed. During our stay, I made coffee, biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, grilled chicken, sandwiches and salad, and found all the knives, silverware, plates, bowls, cups, bakeware, cookware and utensils satisfying. We used the blender for smoothies, and while it wasn't the greatest at chopping ice, it was fine. Filters were even available for our coffee maker. We were provided with just 2 packets of dishwashing detergent, one packet of laundry detergent, 2 rolls of thin toilet paper, and one roll of the very thinnest paper towels I've ever used, so we ended up purchasing those at the local Wal-Mart. Walmart and Target are within a mile of the condos, so they were very convenient. The kids beds, twin-sized bunks in the hallway, had storage underneath, and were great for our girls. We hung a blanket from the top to the bottom so they would have a darker area, and it worked great. Bring extra blankets if someone gets colder easily, though, because there are no extras. The bathrooms were nice and large, but one had mold on the grout. They each had single sinks, and low-flow showers. The vanity drawers were difficult to pull out and push in. Our unit did not have paid beach-front chairs, so we spent $100 on 3 days for using the beach loungers. They were very nice, wooden lounge chairs that were almost like beds, and the cushions were very comfortable, so though it was expensive, it was worth it because we used them a good portion of the time. We also rented a wave runner from Sunshine Water Sports of Panama City instead of renting from Sterling Breeze because it was $85/hour instead of $110 per hour. read more

Stayed in 1106.... Not sure if it's the owner's or the company that manage this unit, but coming into a disgusting and filthy condo is completely unacceptable. Especially for what we paid. Every surface was dirty and/or dusty, the floors filthy, the drawers in the kitchen nasty just thrown in there with food and rusty silverware(I CLEANED THEM FOR YOU, YOU'RE WELCOME), but the worst part where the beds...... I cannot even describe in words how disgusted I am as to the condition of 1106 when we arrived. EVERY bed had stains and the pillows in the master had FOOD on them. The comforter in the master smelled so sour and nasty. All of the sheets where flipped inside out like the person that "cleaned" was too lazy to change them. The queen comforter was destroyed with brown stains, pink stains and bleach stains. When I lifted the sheets I almost threw up from the black stains and hair on them. All pillows had stains, smelled dirty, the twin beds had stains, ETC ETC ETC..... We where just going to leave and get a refund, but sucked it up and asked that they come clean and remove/replace all bedding. The view from this room has a nasty pipeline drainage that's not shown in any of the pictures...The pool is too small for the building size, check in is a nightmare and the lobby is always wet and smelly. We will never come back here. I will continue to go back to The Shores of Panama. Regret giving this place a chance. THE BAR SELLS WINE BASED LIQUOR THAT IS ONLY 24% ALCOHOL!!!!!!! One of the two elevators was down. When we called before our stay they said both elevators worked. During our stay the 2nd elevator never worked and cleaning staff said it had been down for over 6 months. The individuals at the beach and reception were amazing. Very nice condo, very clean lobby, pool, elevators, awesome beach. I give it 3 1/2 stars. The condo in which we stayed at (on floor 10) is very nice, comfortable beds, very clean, it was all stocked up with everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, all you need to do is bring food and clothes. The only thing we didn't like was the couch stank like throw up the whole time we were here, we bought fabric freshener for it , but it didn't help..:/ we mentioned that to the manager and they said they would send a maintenance team but they never came.. Another thing was that in all 3 bathrooms the sinks and showers were clogged up, so when we took showers or washed hands in the sink, the water would fill up and take a while to drain.. Other than those two things we loved it and really enjoyed our stay. read more

So we came here two years ago and it was actually great! Not too many complaints. We were on the 21 floor. They only have 2 elevators and there's 23 floors!! And one elevator kept breaking down. So it would take about an hour to get down the elevators. This time we were on the 3rd floor. I have no complaint about the staff except the housekeeping and maintenance. They did not wash our sheets. We hadn't been down to the beach yet and our beds were full of sand. That's so disgusting! And the walls had uneven painting. The cleaning fee there is $150 i believe. $150 to walk into a dirty ass condo. The plus side though- it was very spacious and i liked that it was all tile. The beds were very nice. That's about all i have to say that's good lol. But if or when we return to PCB, we will not stay here again. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Edit in: i forgot to add this. The maintenance man came and just walked into our condo! We never called for any maintenance. That is not okay. I was alone with two babies and freaked out. He could have at least knocked. read more

We stayed at Sterling Breeze unit 1605, managed by Vacasa. As soon as we arrived in the unit's bedroom, the curtain rod and curtain was lying on the bench in the bedroom. It was broken and not repaired, the toilet seat was very loose and seemed like it would break at any moment. I called a representative within minutes of arriving to the condo and messaged/sent pictures as well. The representative told me that someone would call me to come out to do repairs, this was on Monday and we checked out on Friday without anyone ever calling or repairing. The ceiling fans had about 1 inch of dust on the blades that was falling off once we increased the speed on the fan. All of the furniture was dusty and the floors were not clean. My kids were afraid to sleep on the bunk beds because they started itching as soon as they laid down. The king size bed had a plastic cover that was noisy and poor quality mattress. The shower curtain was way too short so, when you showered, the water was all over the floor. I've written all of this to say...DON'T STAY AT STERLING BREEZE 1605 OR A VASCASA MANAGED PROPERTY. POOR QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Unbiased Review of Sterling Breeze Resorts - Charged for pre-existing damages to unit 305-- We recently stayed at Sterling Breeze for a much needed extra long weekend a week before the Labor Day holiday. We have stayed there before, and have never had any issues. However, this time was much different. 3 days after we checked out, Jessica, the manager of Sterling Breeze called us to let us know we were being charged $650 for damages to the door hinge and bed frame. We tried to explain that we did not damage anything in the unit. If we had, we would have notified the front desk, as all guests have a limited damage waiver (they automatically add $40 to your reservation for damages) which covers damages up to $2000 (but it becomes NULL and VOID after checkout). Unfortunately, if you are unaware of preexisting damages, the inspection and management teams will "find" the damages after you depart and they will bill your credit card. Note that during our stay, we did notice that the door would never latch behind us, so we had to pull it closed each and every time. We thought it was just normal for that unit, and we never thought to look up at the door latch/hinge (we actually happened to have a photo of my husband bringing luggage in to the unit, and youWe also noted that the bed was horribly uncomfortable, and we even submitted an online survey to Sterling Breeze (days before management called us about the damages) stating that the bed should be replaced (perhaps this is why they tore the bed a part to inspect it). Because these issues were minor to us, we never thought to report it to the front desk. Shame on us!!! To make a long story short, if you stay here or at any other resorts managed by Sterling, inspect EVERYTHING, and take photos. Their inspection teams are supposed to inspect each unit after checkout, but obviously the inspections sometimes get "pencil whipped", otherwise, these issues would have been found after the previous guests checked out. Bottom line: Why would we break the bed and door and not report it???? The damages would have been covered by the limited damage waiver!!!!!! read more

Hotel is clean but its not the same as it was a few years ago. Staff is not helpful and they are rude but that seems to be the standard mood of alot of people that live here. Walls in the covered walkway are painted an awful shade of baby s*** green. On the other hand, the view from tge balcony is beautiful. Offers rentals for many water activities but they aren't cheap. Also has a dvd rental machine but it gets locked up when the front desk closes which is very early. No idea what they do for anyone wanting to get a room after 9 pm read more
