I have visited this establishment numerous times. Previously, I would expect to leave the shop highly satisfied regardless of a purchase. The previous owner ensured a wonderful experience by hiring staff whose behavior demonstrated a strong passion for upholding humility and compassion within themselves, or at least during their shift, cleaning the shop as it was needed, setting any given item's price well below market value even if it is name-brand, and much more that is not mentioned here. The owner I reference was remarkable; someone who displayed the traits that anyone would assume they would notice in an individual operating a store of which it is claimed that all proceeds go toward victims of violence. It is unfortunate how much the current owner has voided the establishment of the values upon which it was built. The current owner, who is a short, older female with brown medium-length hair, lacks kindness and selflessness. Rather, it seems this individual must value economic gain and anything else concerning only what may benefit themselves. It is difficult to assume the same employees who worked for the previous owner also value the same as the current, so I assume the current owner has either strongly encouraged her workers to focus on profits and if bored, acknowledge any feedback from guests; or, she must have hired new staff to make the domestication process much easier, as it would be presumably less difficult to teach certain skills than to alter an individuals' process of thinking, then establish a preferred process of thinking. Additionally, the upkeep of the shop is less than decent: the (what I assume is) hardware section is hoarded to the extent that it would feel claustrophobic likely for any given person, labeling for many collections of items is non-existent, I assume all clothing donations go unwashed due to debris such as mud being left on the clothes, and anything that has been opened and should be labeled as such (i.e., lotion, hand sanitizer, OTC medication) is not labeled as opened. I understand this establishment is a thrift store, and I certainly would not expect perfection or anything similar; my main concern is how the current owner presents herself and attempts to pose the shop, and how the owner and shop are; one being the direct cause of the other's common assignment of negative regard. They are both deficient. Please, do not waste your time at this place. I recommend you donate and make purchases there once it is under completely new staff and management. I've been to this establishment a few times. I brought my nine year old granddaughter with me today and she needed to use a restroom. Upon request we received the following statement, "If I let her in, I'll have to let anyone in". What happened to common decency and courtesy? I use to love coming here to thrift! The prices where reasonable. Now they researching how much each item is and mark it a couple dollars less than what you can buy it new. It's more of a boutique now with outrageous pricing. read more

Everyone wants a bargain, especially these days. This is our second time stopping here. I didn't do a review for the first time just because we were not impressed so I figured I'd wait. Today we happen to ride by and decided to give it another chance. I know these stores are hit and miss for finding good things but we both agreed who ever does the pricing or decides what things should cost in way off. I mean I know they are trying to make money but if they priced item a bit lower they would sell so much more! For example: The pet section ~ you can buy nice leashes today for $1.00 at mighty $ They had a bunch over $1 Dog clothes, a used shirt they wanted $3-4 for being used I have paid $1-2 for other places and they even had original price tags hanging on them!! Purses - sign says $4 unless marked. Now seriously $22? For a old used purse? I dont care what the name is, its used! You can get beautiful purses brand new for $22 at tjmax or like. Boots my husband picked up $30! Really? They are used! They have a few of these around there is another in Forest City we go to they are definitely better on prices than this one. I was just disappointed I didn't find anything at all I could not live without. On the way out I heard another lady who Did not buy anything say she thought the prices were high too. Very disappointed to see the mask sign is a joke. So many people wandering around NO MASKS, despite the sign in the front. We didn't stay despite it being one of the better stores here. We will NOT be back. Even the employees are not wearing the masks the signs say are required. read more

I didn't check out their clothes but the rest of the stuff they had was pretty random and I didn't come across anything interesting. They do however have cases of mason jars for pretty cheap. Used of course but their mason jars. They did open a garden center out back but after going through the store we were pretty ready to get out of their. The cashier lady wasn't very friendly either and encouraged us to use one of their carts to push through their tiny store instead of them being able to leave something at the counter. read more

My dad and I were looking for a used orbital sander for a project, so we checked here. But as it turns out, they didn't have any power tools (they might get some every now and again, but I doubt they stay in stock for long). However... They have so much other stuff here. The building is huge, and it is a treasure trove for thrifty people. Gently used clothing, shoes, books, kitchen appliances, TVs (older CRTs, of course) and miscellanea. If its something you generally find in a house, chances are they have one. Come on out and support this place--volunteer, donate, buy--they do good work for the community. read more

Smells really funky. Like old clothes and mildew. Mostly junk (things that didn't sell at the corner yard sale. Clothes are all outdated, and worn. read more

Found a purse i really liked but no price tag, lady told the other lady a really hi jacked up price, all because the person who prices the purses was not there. I could have bought 2 purses of that brand in a upscale shop. That's really crazy buisness, since everything is donated to them. read more

Some of there stuff is really reasonable, but something's they got in there are way to expensive. I'm sure if u negotiated with em they'd probably knock a lil off tha price. Friendly employees and clean store read more
