I contacted them on Thursday and I had an appointment set up for the following Monday within a few hours. The intake forms were online, covered all the necessary information without being overly involved, and the staff was constantly responsive. It's a beautiful office and the NP I met with was direct, to the point, and most importantly kind and compassionate. It is not our fault that you simply didn't want to pay for all the sessions that were received. It is in ALL of the intake paperwork that you signed that the card you put on file you are giving us permission to charge for amounts owed. That is what occurred. You were informed when we did so. Also you did receive notice of what was owed. Statements are sent to your patient portal and states what you owe and will be charged. We do not mail statement as it is quicker for you to receive them in your portal. Again very sorry that you simply didn't want to pay for the services and that your insurance required you to meet a deductible first. We do not control your insurance policy. Ultimately you are responsible for payment for the services you received. I can promise you there is absolutely no fraudulent billing and saying so is slander. We have a system that make sure the pt receives no less than 52 mins which is required to bill for 60. We again are sorry you are not well versed in billing practices. But before you go slandering someone you may want to educate yourself. We wish you the best. And unfortunately you are also wrong. Plenty of people do not like to pay their mental health bills. And therefore that's why we have the perfectly legal policy in place of requiring a card on file to charge those individuals like yourself whom prefer to leave their therapist high and dry after they received excellent care. You would be upset if someone took money from your account and then not be willing to give you any information on what you paid for.
