He listened to everything and came up with a decent idea, but it didn't really fit our business image. We needed something edgier. He went back to the drawing board and returned with an idea so good, we've decided to use it for our year-long campaign instead of just the holidays. Go, Steve. Go! Steve and his team are so easy to work with. They have great senses of humor too. When you call to talk to Steve, pray that he's out. You'll go straight to his voicemail. It's hysterical: "Hey, it's Steve Sevell. I'm not in right now, so, please leave me a message. But remember, if you don't have anything nice to say..." Then the machine beeps like it's blurting out a curse word, and you begin your message. I also read an article that featured Beverly Sevell, Steve's wife and business partner. She was asked to give advice to other women who want to get ahead in their careers. Her response?: "Sleep with the boss." From head to toe, this company is clever. Even the business cards are creative. All around good people with good work ethic and smart minds.

Link to news story: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016/07/15/gods-not-dead-2-ad-rejected-at-cleveland-convention-for-being-way-too-incendiary.html The billboard rejected by the media company in this news article hardly seemed "way too incendiary" to me. Our country's founding was based on principles of freedom of religious expression, not freedom from religious expression. Obviously, a private company has the right to uphold a different set of principles than that if they so choose, but people should be aware of what these principles are (or there should be a clarification if they've been misunderstood). Apologies if this is not the same company or just an affiliate, but it certainly looks to me that the two are one and the same.

Orange Barrel is responsible for the barrage of large ads that have lately began to dominate Columbus sky space. My favorite ad is the cans of paint near The Elevator on High st. The cans are tipped and their splatter runs all the way down the building on to two cars parked at the bottom. To add to the ad, the cars are covered in said paint... Brilliant! Also really enjoyed the Fabio aging panels for Nationwide. Some of you may remember the backlash that caused as the aged Fabio was said to resemble Les Wexner. If you still have no clue as to what I am talking about perhaps the Charles Penzone ad near Broad and High rings a bell, or the many ads for galleries in the Short North. The ads from Orange Barrel almost weren't. Originally ODOT said they cause too much distraction to drivers. Lame. What the ads really do is give Columbus a bigger city feel than it really is. Not to mention create ads that blur the line between art in their creativity. Look up and appreciate what Orange Barrel is doing to the city. To me its commercialism I can appreciate and respect.

Avoid this attorney's office. Very little care or consideration is given to a loved one's estate…read more I've received poor legal advice and no help since my mother passed away. The family member who was originally supposed to be executor of my mother's estate ultimately declined the role. I had established contact with Ellis and shared my concern about the only family member left to take on the role. I explained that I lived 2,000 miles away, have a family, and live full time and wasn't sure that I could do it. I let Ellis know of these concerns on Jan. 7, 2022. He replied on the same date with this quote: "If there is no named Trustee the court could appoint an independent administrator. However, this is not recommended as it would mean that someone who has no connection to the family will have to sort through all of the issues." After this email, I wrongly assumed that the court system and the attorney would protect my mother's and father's assets and it would be okay. This was very poor advice. Any asset that does not have a legal document attached to it, does NOT exist. In other words, you can't steal a car because of the title. You can't steal bank accounts or life insurance policies. You can't steal a house. You CAN steal all of the assets in a house. I was told by many people that an inventory should've been created to track my mother's and father's possessions. My mother lived in her home for almost 50 years until she passed away. My father lived in the home for almost 40 years. Even my father's possessions were still in the house after he passed away as my mother didn't get rid of anything. Our agreement was that an auctioneer would clean out the house and sell my parents' possessions at auction. Then he would also auction the house. Ellis's email on March 11, 2022 indicated that this plan was moving forward, per these quotes from the email: "Unnamed person is proceeding with the process of selling the personal property in the house. This is necessary so that the house can be cleaned out and then sold. She has talked to the auctioneer that I recommended and he will take everything from the house and sell it at auction. If there are any personal items that have sentimental value to you I suggest you let her, or me, know as soon as possible so that they can be removed from the auction." He further assured me: "No one can distribute any asset in accordance with your mother's oral promises to ANY person unless she also put that promise in writing. This applies to life insurance, the car, the house, the personal property and whatever else she owned." The house was emptied and sold at auction, in the summer of 2022. All items in the house had disappeared. I let Ellis know that I did not receive my box of items, and the executor had multiple people in the house, who I assume also took items. The executor claimed there were no contents in the house to sell at auction. This would've been impossible. My mother's home was fully functioning at the time of her sudden death. She had a fully functioning kitchen with small appliances, dishes, etc. Here are some things known to be in the house: large amounts of jewelry, a large collection of elephants, random Fenton pieces including a lamp, random decor, figurines, and collectibles, antique toy trains belonging to my grandfather kept in a display case, lots of Lionel trains belonging to my father, large amounts of Christmas decorations, furniture in multiple rooms, 1-2 sewing machines, an older Bose model stereo that was still used regularly, wedding china & silver, furniture, a Smart tv, another tv, an iPad, a newer modeled laptop, an iPhone, war memorabilia from my grandfather and my father. I am sure there are many other items as well, but these are things that I remember easily. In addition, a family member offered to have a collector / seller go out to the house to give an offer on the antique trains and my father's Lionel trains, but the executor refused the offer. I notified Ellis on April 7 regarding the items in the house completely disappearing, in addition to the antique trains which had a possible buyer months prior. EVERYTHING, and I mean, EVERYTHING my mother and father owned are now gone. There is no record. There is no inventory. I assume it was taken, distributed to people not listed in the will, and privately sold for profit. Ellis has been quiet on the issue. I expressed my concern AGAIN on September 19. On October 7, he replied, with the quote: "As trustee she has a responsibility to protect the assets of the trust and the authority to sell those assets if that is consistent with the terms of the trust." The estate and trust had 3 beneficiaries, one who passed away a year before my mother. I was a beneficiary. The house was emptied without my agreement and distributed and sold to people who were not listed in the will. This is my assumption as there is no legal record of my mother's assets in the home.

Something that I always appreciate is off the street parking -- which the facility has; however, if you are handicapped or in a wheel chair you will not be in a position to navigate the building at all. There's a staircase to get in the building, and one you're inside there are more stairs that you need to navigate to get from office to office and room to room. From what I hear, it's a very old building that was significantly rehabbed, so that's par for the course. Of the several times I have been to the Matrix Media Services offices, I have always felt welcomed by the receptionist and been helped in ways that exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for out-of-home advertising solutions, I would highly recommend connecting with this place to see how they can help you.

Our house was built by traditional out-of-home media like billboards, transit advertising, mall displays, and airport ads. It was then enhanced by a digital media division and refreshed with social media. We were delving into non-traditional and alternative outdoor before most marketers were aware of advertising on coffee sleeves, dry cleaner bags or gas pump toppers.
