Since Monday September 15 (Monday) we had no AC and our houses temperature reached a ridiculous temperature of 89. I called Patrick Taylor from Taylor AC and I told him about my issues. I told him I was just looking for estimates and if he does them for free which he replied YES. He said he could be out there and look at what I had. I received his estimate that night and told him that I would like his assistance in getting me a new AC. On Wednesday the equipment was dropped of at his company and he said he will be here today to install it (Thursday). I was super pleased because I thought it was going to be another week but it was the next day. His team got here and went right to work. They were incredible and fast and efficient on getting us comfortable again. After a couple of hours we noticed our temperature dropping from 89 to about 80 and could feel the difference. What I liked most about the company that if they didn't like or how it looked they went back and fixed it. They were very picky on how they were making my AC look. I highly recommend this company for anyone who has AC issues. I could ramble on but he and his team have no idea of how I feel about them and their work. He found that the capacitor was bad for the unit. He replaced it and it works great. My only problem with the whole experience was the price. They charged 79 dollars to just come out and diagnose the problem and charged over 200 dollars to replace the capacitor, which took 2 minutes to replace. My total bill was over 300 dollars. After the fact I found the capacitor was sold at the local hardware store For 30 dollars. Much cheaper id tou can do it yourself. If the fan isn't turning or it's not blowing cool air, it's probably the capacitor. Fyi

I already had a reputable company come out and diagnose the problem and provide a quote, but I had to go through the process with this company. EC told me that I needed a new condenser as it had a leak and there was no refrigerant. I already knew this. When they submitted their report to the home warranty company, I needed a new condenser AND all of the sudden I needed a new air handler too. There were also "non-covered" warranty items totaling over $5,000 for things I did not need. I had the condenser replaced for $3100 without a bunch of made up charges. What a scam. They are ripping off the warranty company as well as ripping off the customer.

In a matter of minutes my AC was working after waiting weeks. I am very grateful that they were able to fix the issue and didn't just see dollar signs. They were peofessional. The auality of service was great. He explained things to me so that i understood what was going on. I am surprised to see all the negative reviews but im big on reviews and they did an awesome job.
