Poorest service I have ever encountered in any healthcare facility and would never recommend to…read moreanyone. I went here on 6/9 to be seen as I was experiencing severe dizziness for multiple days....bad enough where I should not be driving much if at all but I had no one to take me. I had called first to see if they were busy and found out their answering person was in a call center and not only couldn't tell me if they were busy but also could not tell me whether or not they were located right next to St Louise Hospitsl (fyi...yes they are). Found the place about 1.25 hours before they closed and there was only 2 people waiting in the waiting room. She took my name and told me to have a seat. Couple minutes later she called me up and told me that because I did not have an appointment there was no guarantee that I could get seen today and that I could fill out a form and basically take my chances. If I couldn't get seen they would take my vitals and make me schedule an appointment. Let me begin to say why couldn't the lady on the phone just have told me this? She could have easily told me the place was appointment only. Or have some idea on how their system works since she is their operator! Secondly...why would I want to waste my time waiting there....let them bill my insurance for them to tell me what my temperature, blood pressure, etc is then tell me to make an appointment if I couldn't get seen only to have to come back to get my insurance billed again. Seems like insurance fraud or a way for them to make more money off insurance. Thirdly....I nicely explained my reason for coming in....I should not be driving with how dizzy I am. They were basically forcing me to drive up to the Morgan Hill urgent care which has way better customer service and would have been my first choice if I didnt want to risk a car accident. Care of patients should always come first...not putting someone at risk more so. As someone that works in healthcare myself I will never ever recommend this place to any of my patients

However all of that got turned around when I had to go there for a few other reasons. Not only did they far exceed the previous experience but the care was excellent. The moral of the story is don't always let your first experience be the guiding force in how you see things. Some times people are having an off day. Maybe we might be as well. I know it isn't always the case, but if a negative experience is not the norm, and a second chance is given, the truth has a way to set things straight. Thank you for excellent care

If compassion, empathy, and basic human decency matter to you when seeking medical care, I would…read morestrongly reconsider trusting St. Louise Regional's triage process. Alexander Gutierrez was one of the most dismissive and arrogant healthcare workers I've ever encountered. My mother presented in severe pain and instead of showing concern or even basic kindness, we were met with coldness and condescension. At one point, he responded with "pain is subjective" in a tone that felt less like clinical education and more like a dismissal of her suffering. I fully understand emergency departments triage based on acuity and not simply pain scores. That's not the issue. The issue was the complete lack of compassion and the way a vulnerable patient was spoken to during a frightening moment. There's a difference between being clinically efficient and being emotionally detached to the point patients feel dehumanized. Unfortunately, this experience felt like the latter. No family should leave triage feeling belittled for advocating for someone they love.

You get 2 showers a week if your lucky . My sister was in there for rehab for a broken leg, we should have known from day one!! The air was not working, tv of the wall, she shared a room with a woman with cancer. It was a 105 degrees , that day, her boyfriend went home to get a fan, we got her settled and I checked out the bathroom filthy, crap all over toilet and a full garbage can and that was late afternoon. She was recommended to this place by hospital said 5 star , never!!!!0 star maybe!!! After a few days it only got worse, she would ring her buzzer , especially at night no one would answer, god forbid if you were in cardiac arrest , all she wanted was a glass of water!!! I could go on and on, the level of care is bad, elderly people who cannot speak for themselves are ignored, sad!!! Some wander the hallways at night in diapers looking anorexic, her roommate had diarrhea and sat in it for hours, the bathroom was covered with crap for more than 24 hours, Patients are ignored, not taken care of , only 2 nurses at night or LVNs, This place is a nightmare!! we are all going to get old one day, I wouldn't treat my worst enemy the way these for profit corporations treat people in there so called rehab/ skilled nursing!!!! This place is mainly very sick elderly patients, with only a chosen few caring employees!!!!!!!
