This place is pretty good overall. The vibe was welcoming, and everyone who assisted me was…read morefriendly. My rep, Rosario, explained everything clearly and in great detail upfront, though pricing wasn't discussed until my consultation with Angela. The photos were edited very well. The package options are a bit on the pricey side, but ultimately it depends on what you're looking for and how you choose to invest.

Short version: This photography company (not modeling agency) leaves you responsible for finding…read moreand securing your own modeling gigs. They are very transparent about their limited services before presenting you with their unconscionably-priced packages ranging from around $400 up to around $6000, executed as contracts with clauses that expressly state that you cannot cancel. Go to a reputable modeling agency. Successful models do not pay lump sums of money to get started. They contract with agencies who are paid a percentage of their earnings from gigs their agencies book for them. Some modeling agencies will do your photoshoot for you! You've been warned. Long version: Walked into the building and it was evident from the clientele that the company is NOT selective, though they lead with the appeal that you attend in hopes of being selected. Saw all walks of life in there. One guy was definitely giving trucker vibes. Spoiler alert: If your money is green, you will be selected. The money they collect from people new/ignorant to the modeling industry is clearly NOT invested in the studio space. The basic backdrop/set (white) is situated inside of the space's kitchen, yep, it is directly adjacent to the refidgerator and shows signs of wear. The only changing room available (besides the bathroom if you chose that option) is begging for a fresh coat of white paint and as little as a command hook on the wall for hanging your change of clothes. The tiny corner in the back, situated directly beneath a staircase leading to the only other set, has two rolling racks and two large suitcases wide of a floorspace (to be shared by multiple clients for storing their clothing changes/personal items). There were only two stylists available for approximately 6 clients during my visit, and the one assigned to my daughter left before the 4th/final look was shot. Therefore, my daughter styled her own hair for her final look so to not have to wait for the other stylist to finish the client she was working on (because we were at the studio for over 3 hours already). The finale is when you are invited into the office to find out if you were "selected." There, you are met with high-pressured sales tactics, think timeshare presentation style pitches, including urgency and language like, "Available today only" (due to lack of storage space) and "I'm sure you don't want to be here any longer than you've already been." Seeing through it all, I can only remember thinking to myself there is a certain sense of irony in that I would not "select" the person in charge of "selecting" my daughter because some of the crapton of money this woman (Dawn) collects for the company could very well be spent on correcting her two front teeth. Perhaps then I would find her more convincing as a professional, especially a professional attempting sales in the modeling industry. Too many red flags. Went to a reputable modeling agency instead.

I will start with the positive. The staff was very friendly from the very start. My hair looked…read moregood and the place was an old cute house. The not so good. From the moment you walk in you start spending money. Not including my sitting fee and hair, I spent 150 before I even went back downstairs to take my pics, including a tip that was "not expected but appreciated" I took my pics, made my appt to come back and view them and then when I did come back I found seven out of 100 that were worth taking home, however, since the pics are 159 ea unless you take the 8 for $800 package, I had to narrow it down to 3 ( which cost me 480) because there is no in between package. I will say the 3 I chose to take home, I did like but 480 for 3 pics is ridiculous. Overall I am glad I had the experience but so feel like I got a bit ripped off.

It was a ripoff. I…read morebought a Groupon and spent a good few hours of my time doing the photoshoot. It was fun and all but when it came time for me to look at the pictures, it was a complete failure. I set up my return appointment and when I showed up their system was down and they couldn't show me the pictures. The lady that normally handles the appointment eventually left the the company. Well even though the shoot is suppose to be all inclusive with the groupon, they still charge your card 150 just "in case " you buy anything. Which you don't get a chance to because they never answer their phones. I have left many messages now and they still have not refunded my money nor showed me my pictures or even given me a good reason of what is going on. Don't waste your time and don't give them your money. Once you get in, 1 picture is almost 400 and a package can go up to 800.
