Usually whenever I host a party at our house, everyone congregates in the kitchen. It is very difficult to get people to mingle in the living room. Well, this time, with Ben and his bar in the living room, it was very difficult to get people to come to the kitchen! We were very happy that even though our party was on the smaller side, Aaron/Ben were able to hook us up with 5 speciality cocktails. The specialty cocktails were pre-prepared then finished while serving, which significantly sped things up and meant there was never a line at the bar. I planned an event and gave 2 months notice that it had been canceled and they refused to give me back even a nickel. They kept over $600 of mine. I thought with the 2 month notice, it would be plenty of time for them to at least give me back a portion of my deposit. I found the woman rude and there's no way I would ever do business with them in the future. I told her I was going to leave a review to make others aware and she said, "Oh, now you're threatening me?" If they find sharing the truth a threat, they should change this greedy policy, because I'm only posting the truth!!! Make sure you always read the fine print, even if it's 20 pages, because they certainly won't offer up any information in advance!
