Unfortunately, I seem to have had a rough 2 months. I went to see Dr. Jaditz approximately 6 weeks…read moreago with swollen glands and trachea pain. Dr. Jaditz diagnosed me with mononucleosis (which I come to find out, despite his speaking at length about it with me - he put acute laryngitis as my diagnosis in his a paperwork!), based solely on his opinion of my symptoms (no imaging or lab work to confirm). He gave me a steroid and an antibiotic. After falling ill again, on May 17th I went back to the office and saw his PA, Carolina. This time I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and given another antibiotic. Finally, on June 1st, I had to go to the emergency room at 9:00pm due to severe lower back and abdominal pain. I was diagnosed with a kidney infection and discharged at approximately midnight. I decided to call my doctor the next day due to the frequency of infections that I had in such a short amount of time. It caused me concern. I asked the receptionist if Dr. Jaditz could give me a quick call, because I wanted to discuss this and find out if he thought that something could be causing the different infections in my body over the past 2 months. She spoke to me like I was an idiot and wasting her time. I asked if Dr. Jaditz could please give me a call and assured her that I would only need 2 minutes of his time. She said that she'd talk to the doctor and then she hung up on me. Several hours later, I received a call from the same receptionist who said that she spoke with Dr. Jaditz and he asked her to call me and tell me that he can't speak to the infection I had diagnosed at the hospital the previous night, but he believed that my smoking caused my sinus infection and he suggested that I go to greater lengths to quit. A. I was not asking him to give me a reason for a sinus infection, I wanted to speak with him regarding the frequency of my infections in such a short time - this is something that could've been clarified if he.. B. Actually called me back himself!! What kind of doctor blows off a patient that asks to speak with him! (As an aside, I am not a patient that frequents or calls the office often - I have been a patient for 2 years and up until recently, had only been there a few times) C. Blaming something on my smoking, when I told them that I was an occasional smoker - NOT a regular smoker - is a cop-out. Also, smoking could possibly only caused 1 of the infections (which I don't believe it did anyway). I had only met Dr. Jaditz once, as it seems his PA takes a good majority of his appointments - and he seemed very nice and smart. But I can not belong to a practice where the doctor can't spare 2 minutes of his time to call his patient. His receptionist repeatedly suggested booking an appointment - I had a question! Is it because they can't bill my insurance if they speak with me on the phone? I am a single mom - I work 2 jobs - But I will leave work and see the doctor and pay the co-pay when necessary.. However, I don't think it's right that if I want to ask the doctor a question, that I must do this. I'm also appalled with how rude and haughty his receptionist was when I was trying to relay concerns about my health. Completely disappointed.

Dr Stephen Jaditz and his nurse practitioner Karolina are fantastic people. I have been going to…read morethis office for 10 years now with my family. Dr. Jaditz takes as much time with me as I need and he is a very caring and considerate doctor. I always have no trouble in getting in to see him when I need to. I feel like they are part of my family. Karolina is absolutely delightful. I feel I can tell her anything. When my husband died she showed up at the funeral. Karolina and Dr. Jaditz showed me nothing but kindness. This is a wonderful office and I would recommend it to anybody. You will be treated with respect and consideration.
