How thrilling that Yelp is now in the UK- that means I can review my beloved Stephen Einhorn!
I discovered Stephen Einhorn last year while doing some random engagement ring searches online. As much as I love the boyfriend (now fiance), and as good as he is with the gift-buying, an engagement ring is a pretty big gift, and I just wanted to be able to at least hint at what I hoped for, since I had a few specifics in mind. I knew I didn't want a diamond, I knew I wanted the stone to be set in the band (I had visions of a stone snagging on every surface in my house). . . I also wanted to make sure the materials used for my ring were ethically sourced. Stephen Einhorn fit the bill perfectly.
As soon as I saw the Times Square ring, I was in love. When I saw it with a pink sapphire, I was head over heels. And now, many months later, I am happy to say that it is the most attractive part of my dry, winter-ravaged hands. Sigh.
To note, the fiance said that it was exactly what he'd had in mind before I showed it to him. So I just did the legwork.
Of course I can't really comment on the customer service or ordering process or anything like that. But I still find myself checking out the website and drooling over the unique, punk-rock-y jewelery. Someday when I have money, I'll come back to SE for gifts. . . mostly for myself. read more
