On the phone, Steven Wolvek keeps saying that he will do it tomorrow or very soon, then he gets excuses about his computer crashes, his busy schedule, etc. Steve Wolvek plays a game to stretch your case as long as he could to get more money from the client; meanwhile he claims that "he one of the honest attorneys who try to minimize the cost of his client." Don't believe him! I was not even notified that my hearing was moved to August, because he was not prepared for the May hearing. He handled my case for almost a year. Within a year, he did not even request to fill out the Income and Expense Declaration from both parties. He simply sent me letters saying "We (Steven Wolvek and the opposing counsel) will be discussing financial issues." Did the issue been discussed? No. He did not even sent me the summary of the telephone conversations where financial issues supposed to be discussed. As the result, none of the documents that required attention from the opposing party were requested by Mr. Wolvek. My case moved nowhere because of Mr. Wolvek's malpractice and negligence. However, I was charged for each letter and telephone conversation with the opposing counsel. Now, I am not even sure that these conversations actually took place. He never sent you the telephone brief that emailed or mailed to the opposing counsel to make sure that everything what was discussed over the phone is correct and confirmed. The CA Bar Association will be reviewing my case about malpractice of Steven Wolvek. Don't waste your time! Don't waste your money on Steven Wolvek!
