The office is beautiful inside and the waiting area is separated for well/sick kids by a large awesome fishtank. They have a little TV with child-friendly movies playing in the waiting area and other kid-friendly stuff. Dr Stutzman is a lactation consultant, which has come in handy since we have a newborn. She always answers my questions completely and never seems to be in a hurry to get the visit done with. We have been very happy with her. Be sure to call a month or so ahead of time for checkups.

We are first time parents, and from our very first visit with Brenda we knew this was going to be a special journey based on the professional and compassionate interaction. My husband's questions about home births were put at ease during our first consultation with Brenda, and now we quite frequently discuss and share with our friends and family just how in awe we are of her wisdom, patience, and expertise in her craft of midwifery. It is apparent that this is her true calling in life, and as her clients we are richly blessed with the experience of working with her. Our birth story was a bit unconventional, and Brenda and her assistant skillfully navigated what was necessary to help our daughter get into the optimal position and ultimately be born without complication or unnecessary stress. After birth, my husband was able to bond with our daughter while Brenda skillfully and compassionately addressed the suturing I needed -- at three in the morning, no less. It was so nice to be able to stay in our own home immediately after giving birth, and on top of that we were also able to have all the newborn care completed at home when Brenda returned the day after birth. We are so thankful for the care, friendship, education, and spiritual encouragement that Brenda has provided and continues to provide for us. We will dearly miss the appointments and conversations, but we hope to have her assist us in the future if we have more children, God willing. We whole-heartedly recommend More Than Birth for anyone opting to have a home birth. Thank you, Brenda and Belinda for your care.

My husband and I decided…read moreto not have anyone else in the hospital with us (unlike with my first born), and we decided to practice the Bradley Method and be as natural and unmedicated as possible. Alaina was an amazing coach and positive energy through it all, especially when labor wasn't going exactly how I had imagined it to happen. Her relaxation methods and positive affirmations helped me through every single contraction, and her and my husband's reassurance prepared me for the next contraction with confidence. I most definitely recommend a doula for every pregnancy, labor and delivery! And if you have Alaina by your side, you can have complete trust that you're in good hands!

I visited because of a promo he offered at an expo. I went and did the consultation decided to continue. The problem came when he tried changing the terms of what we previously agreed on during my first appointment. He did a couple of adjustments and then, charged me a higher than planned fee at the end of my visit (blaming it on not knowing some rule changed). I didn't think that was very fair. He could have called me beforehand or, at the very least, told me before starting the appointment. That was really awkward and there wasn't even another person there to break the ice. Intended or not, I felt like I fell in a bait-and-switch kind of thing. I fought it and didn't have to pay the extra but, hopefully, he has a receptionist by now who can keep him a little more organized. I'm going through my Yelp trying to find places I haven't shared my experiences for yet so note that my experience here was a few years ago. It could just be that he was a new business and doing a decent job by now.

I was then interrupted to get my info to charge my account for the call, which is fine, but then every time I tried to talk, they would talk over me and then quickly ask if I was there?! Could not stop talking long enough for me to explain my symptoms. Then when I talked loudly over her to explain to her that yes I was here still and to please stop talking so she could hear me, she quickly cut me off and told me someone would call me back. SO, a doctor calls me, calls me sounding annoyed, then tells me I need to come see them asap and the ER won't work because there is no on duty Gyno. So I ask for an appointment, and she tells me to call back during regular business hours? I then took the opportunity to share be experience with the after hours answerer, DOCTOR could care less! It's clear immediately this is a "value doctor" selling you on the best price and not the best quality or service. Fast forward to my exam - The doctor claimed he couldn't hear the popping in my back as he was pushing and making it happen, even with it happening multiple times. He made claims that my back was in "exceptional" shape and that I had zero need for any further care after a rear end car accident. There were multiple discrepancies in his report, things not recorded or seemingly purposely left out. The same day, right after this appointment, I attended a separate independently set up evaluation at Mary Free Bed rehabilitation clinic where I was seen by an Osteopathic Doctor. This doctor had a very long list of things I am suffering from including the popping/snapping, periscapular problems, spinal issues, etc. I believe that Dr Aamodt isn't the best choice as a result of him missing very obvious and blatant things with my condition or choosing not to honestly report his findings. Hard to argue when 5 other medical service providers have been able to find and notate these issues within the last few weeks. As a result of all of this, I would highly consider a different practice.
