Upon arrival you step in to a soft and sophisticated reception area and receive a friendly and supremely attentive welcome at the front desk. I was pretty sure this was going to be well worth the time and dollars! After being ushered in to the treatment room the vibe changed and I am not sure I relaxed for the first 10 minutes of my facial... Couldn't hear the music, the room was a little cold, the towels a little thin, the roof fittings dusty, the sound of wind whistling through one of the doors and the therapist's footsteps on the tiles all a bit distracting. However it was all upside from then on - purely on account of the brilliant and experienced therapist who delivered one of those facials where you totally bliss out and disappear from planet earth for the time; she was THAT good and my skin felt a million dollars afterwards. All in all a great experience from the treatment and service perspective. Improvements / attention to detail in the other areas would fulfil the expectation on the brochure, the price and first impressions.

I had the 60 minute facial that included some arms/head massage & it was so soothing & refreshing I could fall asleep. Such a joy to meet the whole team there - I honestly bought 3 gift vouchers as I left for the same treatment for some special occasion gifts coming up soon! It'll be a great way to spoil some dear friends of mine and if they don't want to facial - the credit can go straight across to a massage instead. It's ironic since this was the time I needed a massage the most. The staff at lets indulge were great! Very friendly, able to answer all my questions. I was given plenty of options in terms of positioning. Good technique and left feeling so supple. The environment was great as well, with lovely large, private massage rooms with showers. After a few weeks of high-stress, generally packed schedules and just dealing with LIFE (#firstworldproblems, am I right?) I booked my partner and I in for an afternoon of relaxation. Having visited Stephanies previously for one of our Yelp Elite Events, I knew just how restorative a visit to the mountains combined with the luxury spa experience Stephanies' provides would be. We arrived about 10 minutes early to ensure we were able to complete paperwork prior to our appointment. We were then shown to the change rooms where we entered comfort-mode in our fluffly, white robes. Our afternoon began with a steam therapy treatment which involves a lot of body scrub, mud masking and steam. I'd highly recommend it as starting point for your treatments as it was a great way to set my mind into relax mode and not "racing with a million thoughts an hour" mode. Following a quick return to the client lounge for a few more cups of berry tea and water we were taken to the couple's treatment room. Now, the Stephanies salon beds are unlike any you've ever rested upon. I was even more surprised when, upon indicating on my form I have lower back issues, my therapist adjusted my bed to elevate my knees and upper body (like a hospital bed) to ensure there was little strain on my lower back. Our treatments (him a massage, me a Thalgo facial) ran for maybe 45mins to 1 hour but it felt quite a bit longer. The facial itself was equal parts relaxing and reenergizing for my skin which was sporting the colour "Winter Dull". Stephanies is a true experience. It isn't the place, well at least not this location, for a quick last-minute treatment. It is worth taking the entire day and enjoying lunch upon the deck at the adjoining restaurant. This is definitely a place that is worth coming back for. Stephanies Philosophy is one that is passionate about the spa experience, that is "Embrace new technologies, respect ancient rituals, step away from the ordinary and create breathtaking treatments". This is exactly what she does at the Mountain Spa as it boasts six treatment suites, a triple treatment room, a VIP lounge and Bath suite (where you can soak in your bath of rose petals on the top floor admiring the view, before receiving all treatments with your partner on jumbsized heated massage beds), a steam therapy lounge (which is like being steamed up amongst the stars), a unique Hydro Swiss Shower room (so many shower heads, you do't need to move a muscle to get clean) and the spa is completed with a Sole Theraphy and manicure lounge plus a ladies gossip lounge as well so you can enjoy the finer things in life with you gal pals like the three cs champagne, cupcakes and chocolate in your fluffy robes whilst awaiting total bliss by spa. I personally received one of the best back and scalp massages that I have ever received at Stephanies, The quality of service is supreme and the personality of the staff is the upmost in hospitality, plus the german style massage table was great too by being larger than normal and having inbuilt heating! It was an amazing and aromatic experience. I would thoroughly recommend this retreat to everyone and have already starting plotting my return to this spa to sample further treatments from their extensive list.

It was my birthday and I booked for a Decadence for the feet pedicure and every staff member that I crossed paths with wished me a happy birthday, I felt like an old friend, not just a new client. The visit started by changing into a robe and slippers, now I am a fluffy guy robe's usually don't fit, but that wasn't the case here, the robe fitted perfectly. Then I was taken to a relaxation room where I got to chill and relax even before the treatment started. Being my birthday there were three of us getting pedi's, and despite the chatter between us when it came to the hot stone massage we all fell silent and drifted to an almost comatose state of bliss. I have to say having pedicures are the ultimate luxury experience for me and I've been around awhile and had a few over my time and I can say that I have never had a more luxurious pedicure in my life!! Just when I thought it couldn't get better because it was my birthday we were given a glass of champagne and chocolates. This place offers the wow factor on so many levels. If I just could have managed to keep my head up. It started out as usual - a locker room visit, a silky robe, and short wait in the lounge before I was led to my treatment room. From there it was 2.5 hours of bliss, all in one room, all with one therapist. This was definitely more of a relaxation massage, and though I mentioned it a few times, it was a little light for my liking... but at that point I was too relaxed to let it bother me. It certainly wasn't a cheap pampering session, but if you're looking to spoil someone rotten, this is definitely your place. Hydrated and velvety doesn't even begin to describe how my body felt afterward and after a beautiful tea in the lounge to round off the experience, I was ready to take over the world (perhaps right after a long nap).
