Laurie helped me build my self esteem and self confidence and really helped shape who I am as an adult. I am 30 now and can look back at how I saw things as a kid. I would like to tell kids who are suicidal that life doesn't even begin until after High School and that problems that seem so huge at the time don't even exist later in life. I can honestly say that if Laurie didn't help mediate my relationship with my parents and help guide me through school as a lost little boy, I wouldn't be here today. If you are looking for a family therapist, there is no better choice than Laurie Roth. I can not endorse her enough. Thank you Laurie!!!

At various times she has helped my then-9 year old son get the help he needed for depression related to an undiagnosed learning disability; she's helped mediate disagreements with my teenage son about video games and worked with him privately as well. She has worked with my husband and I on relationship issues on and off for years. That we are still together is due to her. We all feel as Laurie understands us and appreciates us. We trust that she has our best interests at heart and that she can help us to deal with whatever issue we are facing. Our lives would be very different without her help.

Unfortunately ethics do not allow him to respond to your review since by even doing so he would be acknowledging that you were the center's client and thus breaking confidentiality. As a client you are able to say whatever you want. I would caution any prospective client reading this is that when clients and therapists have disputes that the client may not be reporting how the therapist saw the situation and the therapist can't respond. Also I have been a licensed therapist since 1983 and I would not take this client on in this situation. Doing therapy and determining injury for a court claim are very different processes. Best practice is not to do both and there are therapists who specialize in doing evaluations. The goal with a therapist is to help you deal with the psychological issues from the accident to help you deal with them better and hopefully move on. The goal of the evaluation is to establish that these injuries exist and are reasonably attributed to the car accident. Let's say that you also had childhood trauma and that this trauma is being relived in terms of the accident. It's critical that you deal with this in your therapy. It's probably the last thing you would want a therapist to say in court because it causes doubt that the accident was the sole cause of your trauma. I hope that you have found someone who is able to help you find healing.
