The new patient forms were all online, which was SUPER convenient! I got email and text reminders about my appointment. I arrived shortly before my appointment time and was called back very quickly. The nurse had an iPad with all my info readily available & she came in the room having already read over my paperwork. I can't tell you how nice it is to not have to repeat yourself 10 different times. After I went over my concerns, the nurse went away for maybe 5 minutes and came back with the doctor. She took the time to listen to me. I never once felt rushed, in fact I felt like the only patient in the place. I ended up wanting to get Botox and instead of making me schedule an appointment for that, she took the extra time to do it right then and there! She went over all of the pros and cons & provided me with clear expectations. I really couldn't ask for more.

In August but the day before my appointment the office called me and said they dont accept my new insurance which was Ultimate Healthcare, and I said I called the office the first part of January 2026 and the office said they do take Ultimate Health Insurance and I also looked at St.Petersburg Dermatology website the first of the year and it said they accept Ultimate Healthcare , but come a day before my appointment in Aug. Of 2026 the office calls me and says they dont accept Ultimate Healthcare and I said what do you mean I verified when I got the insurance that St.Petetsburg Dermatology accepts Ultimate Health Care and they said no were sorry and if you want to see Dr. ARRINGTON I WOULD HAVE TO PAY CASH , I told them well I hate to cancel the day before my appointment and I hate that Dr. Arrington won't be able to see anybody in that time slot and lose money but I feel the Insurance department dropped the ball . Now after seeing Dr. Arrington for 10 years I have to find another Dermatologist and I hate that . But I must say Dr. Arrington deserves 5 stars but the insurance department gets a half a star.

When walking in Zoey and two other girls were at the counter and no one welcomed me or explained what I was required to do for checking in. I stood at the counter two feet in front of Zoey, staring at her, and she wouldn't even acknowledge me looking for information. My understanding of the agreement was that it required patients to resolve legal claims through arbitration rather than in court. I chose not to sign the agreement because I was not comfortable waiving my right to pursue past, present or future claims in court. As a result, I was informed that I could not be seen unless I signed it. I believe patients should carefully review any arbitration agreement before signing it and understand its legal implications. This requirement was significant enough that I decided to seek dermatology care elsewhere. I had previously referred several people to the former practice, Divine Dermatology, and have since let them know about this policy so they can make their own informed decisions.
