Hilton Garden Inn Pineville -- One-Night Stay Review**…read more I stayed one night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Pineville, North Carolina, and overall it was a very solid experience with standout customer service. Check-in started at the front desk because my mobile key wasn't ready in the app. The front desk staff were superb--friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They clearly explained all amenities, breakfast and dinner hours, and the bar area. When you're traveling, that kind of information and clarity really matters, and it was much appreciated. The room layout is practical and well thought out. When you enter, the closet is on the right and the bathroom on the left. There's a compact kitchenette-style cabinet with a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and ice bucket. One note: the in-room creamers are all artificial, so if you prefer real cream, it's best to bring your own or grab some downstairs before heading up. The room includes a chest of drawers with the TV on top, a proper work desk with a lamp, and an ergonomic desk chair made of molded plastic rather than peeling pleather--a smart design choice that other hotels should copy. Lighting is good overall, with a lamp in the corner, a lamp between the two beds, and a light at the entry door. Power access is excellent. Two lamps (the desk lamp and the bedside lamp) include AC outlets, and the bedside lamp also has USB ports. There are two additional power outlets above the desk, along with an alarm clock and telephone. The room also features a full-length mirror, luggage rack, iron and ironing board in the closet, and a hair dryer in the bathroom. Cleanliness throughout the room was excellent. There is ongoing remodeling upstairs. While this is a positive long-term improvement, I would personally choose a room one floor down next time to create a buffer from construction noise. That said, the hotel clearly posts construction notices on their website and elsewhere, so guests are informed in advance and can request room placement accordingly. Checkout was just as positive as check-in. The front desk associate was very friendly while they were wrapping up breakfast service. I hadn't eaten at the hotel, but I asked if I could run my items to the car and come back in with my travel mug for coffee. She said that was no problem. When I returned and found the coffee carafe empty, she immediately noticed, went to another area, and personally filled my cup--no request needed. That level of attentiveness is excellent hospitality. Overall, this was a clean, comfortable stay with genuinely strong customer service from start to finish.

Do NOT Stay Here! This was one of the worst hotel…read moreexperiences I've ever had. Our room had an active water leak coming from the ceiling--directly above the jacuzzi tub and right next to an electrical ceiling light, which felt incredibly unsafe. There was standing water in the tub from the ceiling literally falling apart. It was obvious this wasn't a new issue. You could clearly see a previous botched repair job in the ceiling, and the problem had never been properly fixed. Even worse, the smell of mold and mildew was overwhelming throughout both the hallways and our room. There were multiple brown water stains on the ceilings and walls, not just in the room but also in the lobby. The lobby furniture itself was stained and dirty, showing clear signs of long-term water damage and neglect. This place feels like it has serious health and safety issues and should honestly be investigated for potential code violations. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

I bought living room sofa sleeper sofa bookcases and two recliners…read more Two foot storage pieces end table coffee table. One of the foot stools was broken. It took three months to get this resolved..new one coming Jan 8th..after numerous calls and techs coming to my home to invest age. One bookcase the light does not work. The tech reported 'electrical problem' I called and your customer care dept claims they would order electrical kit. This item has not worked since October. I don't tkink this fair..the. Furniture is new SBD should be replaced. The service person told me I have to go through there service process ( which could take a few months). Do I asked for his supervisor and have not gotten a call back..scheduled for 1pm. I would not recommend lazy boy to anyone..sales good..delivery...but service awful. Thidhas been going on since October 2024.

We bought two La-Z-Boy recliners. We chose our own fabric and had them custom-made. These were not…read moreelectric recliners. Took a long time to come, but when they came, oh boy. The fabric had the strongest smell. I'm not sure if it was a fabric protector or what but we've had them a month now and they still stink. Immediately we noticed defects in the fabric. We called them in ordered a new seat cushion to replaced one we have so the patterns would match the seats are so difficult to recline, my wife threw out her back, trying to recline it. Instead of being a smooth recline, we can barely get them to go back without jumping up. Now the creaking has started. I can't even touch it without it creaking I walk by and bump into it and it creeks. If I sit down it creeks so bad it's embarrassing. If someone comes to my home and sits in the chair I'll cover my face and say I'm so sorry about the creaking. We have been trying to get someone out here to repair and we were told we would have to wait six weeks or more to have someone come by and check out the chairs. These two recliners cost us $3000. The biggest mistake I have ever made in my life was buying these chairs. I should've gone to a regular furniture store and bought some recliners for a fraction of the price. I thought La-Z-Boy would be a quality product, unfortunately, I did not check the reviews before I went. One and a half stars on Yelp would've told me to go somewhere else. Don't make the mistake I made. Go somewhere else to buy recliners.
