The first day I came in here a really bad ass guy named Joe, was the first bartender I had encounters with. He greeted us with a big smile, and proceeded to make us feel welcome immediately. His old fashions are legendary. Any drink you ask from him, the guy knows how to make. He instantly made me feel at home. I think that's why I keep going back here. I like good people. You don't often find those today. The atmosphere is really awesome! Pool tables, TVs, great flags, just a really nice place to sit and enjoy your evening. And I don't know who picks the music. But they deserve an award. I will admit, sadly, one of the female bartenders was a bit...let's just say prickly to us and some of the other staff. But that did not deter me from coming back. But, not returning because of this one person's bad attitude, would be like not going over to your buddies house to drink beer just because one of his other friends was kind of a jerk. It makes no sense Good food, great drinks, great bartenders Joe, Zai, Luke, and DJ. You should definitely come here. Rocksolid five stars!!!

The menu was also a good size not overwhelming, but still enough variety to choose from. We made reservations and, although there appeared to be open seating toward the front, we were taken to the back. We ordered Hurricanes, lamb chops and the fried sampler, and I can honestly say the food was delicious. Our waiter was also kind, attentive and took great care of us. Unfortunately, something about the seating began to make me uncomfortable as the evening went on. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed that the fairer-skinned patrons coming in appeared to be seated toward the front, while guests who looked more like us were being seated toward the back. I obviously can't speak to the restaurant's reasoning or whether there were other factors involved, but once I noticed the pattern, it was difficult for me to ignore. It made me uncomfortable enough that I eventually lost my appetite and couldn't finish my meal. That's unfortunate because the food itself was genuinely good and our waiter did nothing wrong. But the overall experience matters just as much to me as what's on the plate, and I left feeling uneasy about what I observed. Because of that, I personally don't see myself returning to this location.

Earlier no iceberg- just marvelous greens of all exciting types. Not so now!! Much of the salad had lots of chunks o white iceberg!! And vinegary dressing. Oh, no!! The good news is that our favorite main courses are still like out of ny Greek grannies' kitchens - the fabulous moussaka and the souvlaki Were as delectable and amazing as always!! And those tender tasty lemon potatoes were just as we always loved them!!l We were delighted , but now in search of the best Greek salad in town- The breezy outdoor patio is so roomy and comfortable and there are many large fans up above to keep diners cool and comfy on a hot day!! We always look for outdoor covered patios with large fans and room tables not close together and large comfortable chairs-- Niko- Niko' s has it all ! See the photos-

I really like Niko Niko for their food and casual atmosphere. It's a great place to grab a meal,…read moreand I've generally had a good experience there. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the desserts. I recently bought the assorted cookie box along with several assorted cake desserts to take home and try. I spent close to $70 on the desserts, so I was really hoping they would be worth it. Unfortunately, we were extremely underwhelmed. The dessert I was most excited to try was the marzipan cookie because I've had a really good one at another Greek restaurant. This one is called a Kourambiedes (almond cookie), and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The texture was actually great, but the flavor was extremely off. It almost tasted like plastic. I'm not sure if the wrong ingredient was used or if there was too much baking soda or baking powder, but something definitely seemed off with it. I was also really excited to try the pistachio cake, but unfortunately it had very little pistachio flavor at all, which was a letdown. The baklava were dry, and the rest of the cookies in the box were also very dry and didn't stand out, especially considering how much we spent. I really do enjoy Niko Niko and their food, but based on this experience, I probably wouldn't spend that much on their desserts again.

We came here to celebrate my belated birthday, and it did not disappoint!…read more The table was decorated with a sweet birthday card and confetti. We were tucked away in a small booth. Our waitress, Sarah, was exceptional. We didn't have to ask for anything. She suggested items off the menu and offered to get me the gluten-sensitive one when I mentioned I have an allergy. As part of restaurant weeks, I did the lobster bisque, filet mignon, and creme brulee (they subbed since I couldn't have any of the listed desserts). My husband had the meatballs, jalapeño salmon (which is very mild), and citrusmasu. Sarah recommended he should get it. We split a side of broccoli. The food portions were large. Most places give skimpy portions for restaurant weeks. Not Truluck's. The restaurant went above and beyond to make me feel special. I also didn't get sick from any cross contamination. I'd highly recommend coming for any occasion. The prices aren't cheap, but the food and quality are incredible.

He was very welcoming, got us seated quickly, and even gave me a coloring sheet, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience with our server, Brianna, didn't match the great first impression. I don't want to speak negatively about anyone, but the service and overall attentiveness could have been much better. We were ready to order when she came over, but instead of taking our order, she told us she was going to greet another table first. She then proceeded to greet not only that table, but another one that had arrived after us as well. About 10-15 minutes later, she finally came back to take our order. What was most frustrating was watching tables that were seated 30 minutes after us receive their food, finish eating, and leave before we did. Throughout the meal, several items we requested were forgotten. I asked for a to-go box three separate times, but it never came. By the time we had already paid, I gave up and just finished my food instead. One thing that also stood out was the interaction after we had paid. She suddenly became much more conversational, chatting and laughing with us after the check was closed. Throughout the meal, we also noticed her laughing and engaging with other tables while we struggled to get basic requests fulfilled. Because of that, the friendliness at the end didn't feel genuine it felt more like an effort to secure a larger tip than a reflection of the service we had actually received. I would have appreciated that same level of attentiveness and warmth throughout our dining experience. Overall, the host made us feel welcome and started our visit on a positive note, but the service unfortunately overshadowed the experience. Because of that, I don't see myself returning to this location.

Perry's Steakhouse 6700 Woodlands Parkway…read moreThe Woodlands, TX 77382 I have to commend Perry's Steakhouse on the excellent food that they serve! The Pork Chop is delicious and everything on their menu I would have to assume it's just as great. I have eaten there several times and I always enjoy their food, bread and salads. The only complaint that I have is that I asked the server twice for a to-go box and I was ignored both times. He was getting everyone's plate, sometimes two at a time, and boxing their leftovers for them. I did not particularly like that he was taking the plates away from the customer and going to another table to box the leftovers away. I would prefer that if someone does that for me that they would perform that directly in front of me. My plate was taken away from my table and he proceeded that task with everyone else's left overs as well. It was a table that had all of the plates that he previously cleared and I wasn't able to view what he was using to transfer the food into everyone's container. I called the following day when I noticed that my left overs didn't quite look familiar to me from what I had left on my plate the evening before. I called Perry's Steakhouse and spoke with Naomi who had my name & number and said that Ashley B. would call me back the following day. I waited for over two weeks and no one has returned my phone call yet! I will leave my complaint here in my review and let everyone know that it's not a wise thing to have someone else box your left over food away from you and out of your sight because you'll never know whose left overs you may get. I am in no way implying anything negative in the quality of the food that served at Perry's because they are "the Best" in my opinion; however, they should respect the customers request if they ask for them to give them a to-go box so they can box their food up on their own. I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again but I will always ask for a to-go box so I can put my own food away in the future.
