I had to leave for work so I paid her and left but was shocked when I got home. I posted a picture of the tub and the right half is what I did after she left. The stove was barely touched other than a quick wipe down. The window sills and any fixtures weren't touched. There was actually a dead beetle left right out on the bathroom window sill. They didn't even touch the tub by the looks of it. I have now done it all myself and asked her for at least half my money back but she just kept talking over me and saying god bless you at the end!! Worst experience I've ever had with any service.

If she wasn't going to come, she should have at the VERY LEAST told me so I could get things situated otherwise. In the meantime, I found out my dog would need surgery, 3rd in 2 years and this time I need Ocean State to do the surgery. I am sure this will cost at least double what I have been paying. I went back and forth on whether or not to cancel. I finally made the decision on Monday, called and left a message. Kristin responded by text and said she would call. She retuned my call on Tuesday, my monthly cleaning was scheduled for that Thursday. She told me because I did not provide 30 days notice, I would be charged for the visit regardless. I am dealing with health issues and did not want to reschedule or let them that day and clean. I will be charged for nothing. My card information is on file. Kristin is very polite, the cleaning was average and more expensive than I ever have paid for comparable cleanings. Buyer beware and make sure if you sign for a contract, you know the cancellation policy, in full before signing on. Cost me $200+ dollars but lesson learned. Comb over the entire website before signing up for recurrent cleanings.

As requested by the business in answer to that review, I contacted Servpro (instead of them picking up the phone & calling us) & left a message for Beth to review the email string/pictures of all that went wrong at our house before calling us back. She didn't. She called as we were heading out to see a family member perform at a Boston theater. I accidentally picked up. She didn't want to talk about the FACTS detailed in my review -- only complained about the timing of the review (a year or so after my last email with them that didn't get follow-up. The review was posted when I became aware of Yelp access). I again suggested she go through the emails that were concurrent with the work. She continued to harp on the timing. I reviewed some of the issues we had had. She didn't want to address any of that, kept haranguing me about the time delay in reviewing. I finally hung up. No follow-up by Beth on the CONTENT of my review at all, other than to get the review deleted somehow. The office staff were nice to deal with. The water remediation was good. Hired re: water leaks. Upgraded: a redo of the very small bathroom, out of pocket. Did not get any of the shower/fixtures as preordered, no support bar as ordered, Sheetrock lines/bubbles in paint, etc. Early on, painters completely painted in the door mechanism and painted without smoothing surfaces (said we didn't specifically order smoothing of walls), bubbles & lines, etc. Repainting still left bubbles/sheetrock lines.

Case in point - I am in the process of moving into a new home, which was delayed six months (covid, worker/material shortages, yada yada), after having to get out of my mom's home at break neck speed because of a super fast sell. The sell was at the tail end of caretaking my very sick, and then dying mother. I also inherited my mom's very large, destructive cat. I am telling you all this because it will give you an idea why I made, what I thought might be, the stupid decision to drag a very old, disgusting, stained couch to the new place, rather than have the cat destroy a brand new couch. When it was rolled in, and I got to see it in bright light, I kinda freaked, but decided to try having it professionally cleaned before going to a plan B. Being new to the area, I looked at Yelp to see who might be available to do this for me and was prompted by Yelp to use the request quotes thing, so I did. I received a number of responses saying that all these companies were booked up, and a response from Beantowns Finest, with open dates, times, and very clear information about prices, which were VERY Reasonable. Owner/operators Jesica and Randy were very responsive to my questions, easy to communicate with, and easy to set an appointment time with as well. Randy showed up early for the appointment, was very professional and pleasant, and proceeded right away to turn my nightmare couch into an almost new looking couch - it was freaking amazing, and a waaaaaay better result than I could have dared to hope for. He also worked his magic on three filthy gabbeh rugs that I was fearing were doomed as well. I just can't believe what he was able to do with them. I was also grateful that all this was done without a huge truck thucka thucking in the driveway, miles of hoses, and doors open to the cold for hours. He has portable machines that work with a bathroom sink and the house's hot water. He left the entire area cleaner than before he arrived - which can sometimes be an issue with this sort of service. the final price was so reasonable, I bumped the check up a bit to make it what I thought was more fair. I will definitely be using them for furniture and rug cleaning, and any other cleaning services I may need, from now on. Thank you guys so much!

She scheduled us for a few days out and communication was great. On the day she texted to let me know she'd be 20 minutes late, and she was there on the dot when she said she'd be. She runs the business with her husband Randy and they brought two of their children to help. Listen: This is a REAL FAMILY BUSINESS! They were friendly and professional. They wore masks too. (Covid isn't over, friends.) They were all hands on deck for what was kind of a big job, and they did it. She even did an extra thing I'd forgotten to ask for and she made time for that as well. Their rates are fair, and I found out that they do a ton of other work too! On-site car washing and detailing, windows, power-washing, and painting, to name just a few things. Initially I just wanted a deep cleaning to help me get back on track with my own cleaning, but I might hire them more often, and for other projects too. Thanks Beantown Finest!
