There are times when a haircut is just to cut hair, and there are times when you are getting a service and an experience. At Stellar Barbershop you are definitely getting the full experience. I was there to get a haircut for a wedding - my wedding as a matter of fact. Sam and Abdul took such great care of me and made sure the one thing I wouldn't have to worry about was my hair on my crazy busy wedding day. They made sure to fit me in on the day of my wedding. I really appreciate this accommodation, because like a lot of places tend to have quite a packed schedule days or sometimes weeks in advance. I had my hair cut by Abdul and he is a genius with cutting hair. He could tell by learning my beard & hair preferences, along with seeing my head shape, exactly how to maximize the final presentation. The haircut was done with impeccable scissorwork, along with the trimmers to give my hair a professionally done look and feel. I also got my beard trimmed and shaped with the hot steamed towel - highly recommend this if you're on the fence. I was in need of a great haircut and I decided it was time to try a new place. I am sure glad I did!!! I have heard some great things from friends and decided to give it a go. I walked in & was sat within 5 minutes. I was lucky to have Alex perform the service and I cannot say enough about his skills! and from the looks of the other customers the barbers here all seemed top quality!!! I would definitely recommend Alex or any of the other barbers highly based on the customers leaving looking a lot better than when they entered!! It was a lil crowded but not "over crowded " where you would expect to wait 30 minutes, but as I said within 5 minutes I was in Alex's barber throne ready for my fresh cut! Besides your traditional haircut, they offer an array of different services, but I opted for the traditional cut & fade, but I definitely plan on exploring the other options offered next time I'm there. I couldn't be happier with the outcome (see the pic I posted as proof). If you're in the need of a cut or tired of the same old barber shop that rushes you in and out and worries more about the amount of customers they can get in than they do about you and your haircut, than this is the place for you. The barber did not cut my hair as I had requested. Coming in my hair was about mid-length all around with some layering. I'm still in the process of growing out my hair so I wanted to keep it long. It was simple, I told him I just wanted to do a touch up, clean up my lower sides and lower back a bit. Blend a bit just so it will flow but I want my top hair to be long. The cut started out good, cleaned up my lower sides and back but then he proceed to blend the shit out of my top hair. Midway I stopped him and told him this wasn't what I wanted. He keeps telling me it's not too short, it's fine, let him finish. It might be fine to him and how he might be use to cutting hair but it is not fine to me. If I wanted his recommendation I would have asked but I told him specifically what I want and he couldn't comprehend that. He couldn't do the simplest task, how hard is it for someone to do a touch up? Don't weasel me into trying to think that what you were doing was good work. If it is not want I requested, it is shit work. Sam even try to tell me that I needed a week noticed in advance for a specific cut? Why do I need a week notice for a cut? Would not recommend this place because of incompetent worker, bad communication, and slimy people. Edit: I washed the product he used to style my hair away and it showed the shitty job he did. I don't even use product so him using product did nothing for me. He actually made it a lot worst for the growing out process. You want me to pay $24 plus tip for this shit? Y'all don't even deserve money let alone $24 for your work. read more

I'm usually very hesitant to try new barbers. Typically when I do, the hair cut is usually very bad or not what I expected. I located Stellar via Yelp. I messaged the company and asked for a appointment. I received a response within minutes. I went into the location and was met by Sam. He evaluated my hair and I mentioned that I wanted a tape up. He gave me exactly what I wanted. He did a good job and was personable. I would certainly go back for another cut. The only negative is that the price of a hair cut is $24.00 which is a little pricey in my opinion but the convenience to my work place is worth it. read more

My barber was DANNY if you want the best Puerto Rican blow out fade request him! He was very friendly and professional! If he can do a bald fade he can do any type of men's hair cut.
