They told me they were called in to the pharmacy. Went to the pharmacy. Prescriptions not there. Called Brightside while I was at the pharmacy. On the phone 20 minutes while they tried to figure it out. Ended up leaving without prescriptions. One hour later I called the pharmacy back. They told me they have three of the four prescriptions. The fourth one couldn't be filled because they had to do it over the phone And the pharmacist could not accept the painkiller prescription over the phone. The pharmacist suggested an alternate painkiller that he could take over the phone. Bright side said no we will just send it to another pharmacy. Went and picked up the three were available. Called Brightside again to find out where the fourth prescription was being sent because I received no phone call. They had since all this started closed for the day. No one called me to tell me what pharmacy to go to. Left a scathing message on their voicemail. Someone eventually called me back and tried to tell me what happened. I told her I knew what happened because I spoke with the pharmacist. I also told her that I knew the pharmacist had suggested an alternate painkiller which they said no. I told them to call the pharmacy And give them an alternate painkiller for my son that I could pick up. One hour later I called the pharmacy and no one had called in an alternate painkiller. My son just had surgery to have wisdom teeth removed. He has no pain painkiller for the weekend. Do not use Brightside Dental. They are stunningly incompetent.

As with most medical business in a medical office, it was a bit challenging to find. I called ahead and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful in directing me with landmarks and signage. (It's hard to find a building in 45mph, multi-lane traffic!) The dentist (or hygienist) assigned to me was friendly and answered all my nosy questions. I had mentioned it had been awhile, and that I hadn't flossed in a bit, because I ran out of my favorite floss and that it was expensive. (I know, I'm a terrible person!) Expecting fire and brimstone and a guilt trip that I am used to immediately brushing off, I was impressed by their professional manner. The dentist/hygienist was either tactful or telling the truth, and said my teeth were not as bad as I might have thought. The main dentist stopped by for a few thoughts and questions, also very pleasant. They answered my questions about Invisalign, and then thoughtfully sent a follow up letter thanking me for stopping by and providing a brochure of information for Invisalign. Teeth felt pretty good and clean after the efficient visit. Big like!

Hands down the fastest and most painless I have ever experienced, and I felt compelled to write an online review. I was in and out of there in no time, felt like I was in expert hands for the entire procedure (which I can't say about most dentists), and felt almost no pain at all. No special techniques for numbing, either. I just think some dentists know how to work in a way that causes the least pain to the patient. She did a fine job but I spend more time with the hygienist then the dentist. Maybe I was just spoiled by Dr. Steimel's practice but I enjoyed the consistency of having someone who knew my dental history each time. And finally, and this might be why I am looking for a new dentist, they gave me x-rays that were not covered under my insurance, are not standardly covered under any insurance. They did not give me any warning so that I could make a decision on if I thought it was worth the extra $.

He is now gone, as is Jamie, his awesome assistant. We don't know where they went. We don't like the way this management runs the practice; no more individualized attention, seems like an assembly line, we don't know any of the staff, everyone seems stressed out. Very mechanical. Not a good vibe at all, and certainly not representative of the way Dr. Steimel likes to treat his patients. And to top it all off, they still show Dr. Steimel on their website!
