Hands down the fastest and most painless I have ever experienced, and I felt compelled to write an online review. I was in and out of there in no time, felt like I was in expert hands for the entire procedure (which I can't say about most dentists), and felt almost no pain at all. No special techniques for numbing, either. I just think some dentists know how to work in a way that causes the least pain to the patient. When I was old enough to have my own insurance coverage, I tried other places closer to home, but I've always come back. I've returned to this office after years of not having any dental work done, and realized the ownership change and all my previous dental hygenists have retired. I'm now seeing Dr. Rollins. I had a chipped central incisor (lower front tooth) and he did a quick repair on it. The work he did was absolutely perfect. It was so good, that the next time I was in their office, he wasn't sure which tooth he had repaired just by looking at my teeth! :) I'm really glad I decided to give this office another try under their new ownership. It's every bit as good as it was before, dare I say even better because I don't feel like this office is only out to make money. Years ago, the previous dentists decided I needed to have work done on all my rear molars and after all the sealant has fallen out or worn down, I have deep crevices that are somewhat bothersome, mainly because in hindsight, I don't believe I should have ever had that work done but I was too young to know that there was an option to decline. I was still in K-12 school at the time. I don't believe Dr. Rollins would even attempt to suggest that I have work done that I don't need. In fact, I asked about an area of concern in one of my teeth and he thought it would be better if we wait, because the work he would have had to do, would have done more damage than the wear and tear that I already have on that tooth. Love it!! IDEA: If you have sensitive gums, be sure you ask about using gas. They are skilled at administering gas which can take the edge off the pain if you're sensitive. I don't have to use gas for my cleanings, but I always ask for it if they're going to drill and it works! It wore off quickly for me, once they turned it off and I was able to drive without noticing any difference in how I felt before I arrived versus when I left the office after having gas administered.

They told me they were called in to the pharmacy. Went to the pharmacy. Prescriptions not there. Called Brightside while I was at the pharmacy. On the phone 20 minutes while they tried to figure it out. Ended up leaving without prescriptions. One hour later I called the pharmacy back. They told me they have three of the four prescriptions. The fourth one couldn't be filled because they had to do it over the phone And the pharmacist could not accept the painkiller prescription over the phone. The pharmacist suggested an alternate painkiller that he could take over the phone. Bright side said no we will just send it to another pharmacy. Went and picked up the three were available. Called Brightside again to find out where the fourth prescription was being sent because I received no phone call. They had since all this started closed for the day. No one called me to tell me what pharmacy to go to. Left a scathing message on their voicemail. Someone eventually called me back and tried to tell me what happened. I told her I knew what happened because I spoke with the pharmacist. I also told her that I knew the pharmacist had suggested an alternate painkiller which they said no. I told them to call the pharmacy And give them an alternate painkiller for my son that I could pick up. One hour later I called the pharmacy and no one had called in an alternate painkiller. My son just had surgery to have wisdom teeth removed. He has no pain painkiller for the weekend. Do not use Brightside Dental. They are stunningly incompetent.

Dr. Milan was very nice and informative but when I went out to the reception area, she charged me for the visit and said I could not schedule the next appointment until I put down half of the treatment plan. Half was $10,000. They would not use my delta dental and they would not work with my auto owners insurance. WHY would you not tell me that when I asked on the phone?? I wish they would have been up front and said this office is strictly for the elite. Most people would not have $10,000 in their account in order to make a follow up appointment. This was a waste of time and money for me and very shady to say the least.

She did a fine job but I spend more time with the hygienist then the dentist. Maybe I was just spoiled by Dr. Steimel's practice but I enjoyed the consistency of having someone who knew my dental history each time. And finally, and this might be why I am looking for a new dentist, they gave me x-rays that were not covered under my insurance, are not standardly covered under any insurance. They did not give me any warning so that I could make a decision on if I thought it was worth the extra $.

He is now gone, as is Jamie, his awesome assistant. We don't know where they went. We don't like the way this management runs the practice; no more individualized attention, seems like an assembly line, we don't know any of the staff, everyone seems stressed out. Very mechanical. Not a good vibe at all, and certainly not representative of the way Dr. Steimel likes to treat his patients. And to top it all off, they still show Dr. Steimel on their website!
