What a wonderful space and how incredible the teachers…read more I have been taking classes now for 2 years here, including hiring for private classes with friends at home or office, and the fact that I am writing a reviews shows how appreciative I am of this space. Each teacher has their specialization and style, but are all very welcoming and helpful. (And each teacher is often bringing new techniques and variety to their classes.) The studio has a mild social vibe, which I feel adds to the practice, the experience. For me it helps reinforce my consistency of yoga practice. The indoor space is a chance to see one of few remaining houses in this area with Toronto's 1930's (or so) architecture. The studio room is clean and has a bohemian good vibes. There is also a meditation/social room, deck and backyard space. Often there are health and wellness events hosted by guest practitioners, which teachers will tell you about if they know your interests. Yoga mats and blocks are available but must be sanitized after use.

Trove offers a variety of practitioner led services (massage therapies, reiki, naturopathy, osteopathy, holistic nutrition, coaching, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy), solo journeys (salt cave, lymphatic compression, sauna/cold plunge, red light therapy), classes (meditation, sound baths, etc.), and IV and vitamin boosts. I decided to purchase an intro credit pack from Trove as soon as I heard they were opening. I decided to take a morning meditation class this week during their first week of opening. Upon entering the space, you feel a sense of calmness and luxury. IYou are greeted by staff who check you in and then show you the space and guide you to the lockers/washroom area. Each locker is equipped with a robe and slippers for you to wear (no outdoor shoes are allowed inside). The common seating area is free to enjoy before and after your classes/treatment as well where there is tea/water for you to enjoy. To my surprise, I was the only person in the morning meditation class. This was a nice bonus as it was pretty much like a private session with the instructor. The meditation room is complete with all the props you need for your practice. The 55 min meditation class flew by and I felt a sense of calmness, peace, and renewed energy after my practice. I decided to enjoy the space where I had some tea while sitting in the common area, looking at the fire centrepiece they had in the middle of the room. As I opened the door to leave Trove, I was hit with the busy sounds and sights of Toronto. This made me want to turn right back around to retreat back into the calmness and serenity of the space created at Trove. Overall, Trove is a beautiful space that provides a variety of services and products to improve your well-being. I definitely would like to try the sauna and cold plunge next time as well as book some salt caves sessions. The massage services also sound great. Will definitely be back for more!

From the first class, I felt like I was channeling my inner airbender, gracefully manipulating the elements... though let's be real, I was mostly fumbling through the movements and probably looked less like a bender and more like a confused flamingo. The key is, it didn't matter. The environment is completely no-pressure. A few practical notes: The studio is up a steep flight of stairs, which could be an accessibility issue for some. It's also located directly across the street from my favorite stationery shop, which was mercifully closed after my first few classes, saving my wallet from certain doom. The same can't be said following this Saturdays class when it was open. I jumped on the excellent newbie deal for 14 days of unlimited classes and have already become a fixture at the 7 pm sessions this week, plus went again today to an awesome Saturday class. The slow, rhythmic instruction is exactly what the doctor ordered, leaving me feeling like I've had a genuinely good, gentle workout. I also tried a meditation class after one of the tai chi sessions, and it was equally impressive. Despite the journey, I can easily see myself making the trip a few times a week. If you're looking for a fantastic, non-intimidating place to start your tai chi journey with a truly gifted teacher, I can't recommend this place enough.

We came here and I instantly loved the relaxed and warm vibe of the place. I often find yoga studios to be a bit snobby and/or obnoxiously spiritual. This is a yoga place for me. The instructors are relaxed and welcoming and the other students range across all ages and ethnicities. The practice rooms are large, and one has a mirror on the wall so you can see how terribly you're doing (if you're me). Both rooms have blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters and cleaning kits that are free for everyone to use. The instructors make sure to give alternative poses for the newbies or otherwise inflexible. There's also a big sitting room area with low lighting where you can enjoy complimentary filtered water or tea before and after class. The change rooms are spacious with shower facilities and a really nice lavender hand soap. I finished out my unlimited intro month (SO WORTH IT at $40!!) and have purchased a 20-class pass. I can't recommend this place enough!
