After interviewing several potential real estate agents, we couldn't be happier that we chose her to represent us. Danielle is sharp, highly experienced, honest, and consistently shows that she genuinely has her clients' best interests at heart. She's also an incredibly skilled negotiator that we were glad to have in our corner! When we ran into an unexpected red flag with the first home we made an offer on, Danielle expertly guided us through the process, connecting us with the right professionals and taking time out of her own busy schedule to make sure we had the information and clarity we needed to make the right decision for us. Later, when we found our dream home, we ended up in a multiple-offer situation. Thanks to Danielle's strategy and guidance, we were able to secure the home, and we're so grateful. We can't recommend Danielle enough, and we look forward to working with her again in the future!

After our purchase, we recommended Danielle to a family member and they also had a great home buying experience. We recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trusted real estate professional.

The Portland Metro rental…read moremarket is so highly competitive that many property management companies were simply difficult to reach for more information, despite messaging through listings on Zillow, Redfin, etc. Shawni not only handled all the property management company outreach and communication, she served as our proxy for viewing properties remotely (which is a requirement for most rental applications) and always made sure to drive to our favorites to record YouTube videos of the exterior, interior, and neighborhood. Shawni was very patient throughout the process, understood our needs, gently steered us away from neighborhoods that didn't fit our criteria, and served as our advocate when dealing with prickly property management companies. It's worth the money to focus on packing up, rather than searching endlessly on Zillow. We highly recommend Shawni and wouldn't hesitate to hire her again, even for a local move!

Last year, I reached out for assistance and was only provided with a spreadsheet that had dozens and dozens of local properties listed with some highlighted that supposedly met my criteria (a dog, for one). Very few of them met my criteria. Frustrating to say the least, so after a bit of back and forth I realized that this service wouldn't work and ended up finding a place on my own. What to my surprise when I got an invoice for $150. For a spreadsheet and a few email exchanges? NO. So now they have sent me to a collection agency for refusing to pay for services not rendered. Clearly expectations were not set or met. You're better off doing an internet search for free.

Hilary & Darcie are a real estate dream team!…read more We were buying - our first home, too. So, as expected, we had all the questions. Many of which I assume are in the "there's no such thing as a dumb question, but..." category :). Hilary & Darcie graciously answered them all, quickly and with plenty of details. As our purchase took place during COVID-19, house tours looked a little different, but they helped us navigate that too. From ensuring we could get in and view a house quickly, to making us feel comfortable with proper PPE and social distancing practices. When we found *the* house, they were quick to draft up an offer and walk us through what everything meant (it's a long contract, but important to understand!). They helped us find and schedule inspections, get bids during negotiations, and coordinate repairs with the seller. And because they work seamlessly as a team, they were available 7-days a week and were able to jump right in no matter who we spoke with last. As a first-time buyer, it would have been really easy to get lost in all of this, but I was never worried that we were missing a step. Hilary & Darcie had our backs throughout the entire process, which was a huge relief! And even as we started moving in and looking at some small upgrades and customizations, they have continued to be a wonderful resource for connecting to local professionals across a wide variety of services. I should have just gotten my friends and a uhaul to move, but i was promised it would take 5hrs. i was billed 5.5hrs. tip top of the money i had left. and they didn't even have time to move everything. why? because their recklessness with my things i didn't want them carrying my computer monitors. they were hired to pack and move stuff across portland. they came at 1:30 when they said only to tell me that they didn't know they needed all the packing stuff. they eventually arrived nearly 2hrs later and towards the END Of the original window i was promised without any 'hey we will be there at this ETA' they said they got stuck behind a train, which is fine i guess? but no update after that until i called and complained, which got me a 5% discount, which is nice i guess? but like everything that happened after were MASSIVE red flags, both for the computer and the 'movers' which felt like contractors they just hired for whatever without properly vetting. i had a small move, 2 rooms. they were the slowest movers and most reckless movers i've ever hired. but i don't really blame them fully for that. supposedly they were working since 8am and just drove up from salem or something. they didn't even eat lunch. is that even legal?! no wonder they came to the door exhausted already and out of it. These 2 guys did the best they could, but honestly with how exhausted I was from helping them (something i SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO), they were doing a good job, but that doesn't really matter. in the end this guy ruined my 2000 custom built standing desk for music. not sure if i can get it repaired or fixed. he undid it and said he will put it back together. it was pretty easy just a few bolts into the joints between the wooden top and the legs and putting on the keyboard tray. easy stuff for the most part (when you have a drill, i don't own one). this guy didn't even look at where he was drilling or understand how the desk was put together after showing him specific things. he just drilled in the bolts and they hit a part that they're supposed to go into but was put in backwards making it impossible (on purpose) to get the screw in. this guy just kept drilling harder and harder and when i asked him about it he was like yeah it's supposed to sound like that. He either was so exhausted he couldn't think straight or just took on tasks he could have said 'yeah i don't know how to do that, can you do it?' either way now i have a broken desk that's only partially built and put together. i am really glad i moved all of my expensive stuff to my place with a friend last weekend, because they definitely would have broken a lot of very expensive things! I also gave them a mattress cover to put on the mattress, and they struggled doing that. You are movers wtf?! i zipped it up about half way and moved on. Then when we got to my new place they didn't even use it and put the mattress on the pavement to get a better angle or something. like what was the point in bringing it?! They also dropped a bunch of precious memories i had in a bin in a bin, they said they took them out because the outer bin couldn't close (bs). They were holding it open wrapped around their arm and i asked them to close it as it doesn't look secure and he said it would be fine, then immediately drops it with pictures and papers dropping on the ground and getting dirty. Anyway this all just happened. and there's no way I can live in my new place due to the lack of time they afforded to me to actually place things in the right spot. At least my bed is in the right spot. luckily for now i am in a short term rental because my last place had mold and why I am moving. i am highly allergic and being there as long as i did, both to wait for them to show up and how slowly they worked on loading the truck, I am feeling sick again because of it. The estimate was low balled to say the least because these guys move at a snails pace because this company overworks them and treats likely their staff like crap. these are probably more desperate people looking for an easy pay day. one guy was like 'i worked 4 days this month' and the other one worked 6 days in a row. a 12 hr day without a break outside of driving (which isn't a break) isn't really fair or legal? I paid nearly 1k for this move, and you can't afford to give these people a proper break between moves? I'm sure they weren't making nearly enough either. Lastly they pressured me to sign a thing at the end of the receipt that says everything was delivered intact, which i didn't sign. Anyway go with another company, not worth the risk. I didn't have another weekend to do this move as i need to have a livable space and that takes time as well. Anyway the movers were careless, slow, expensive, and ignored instructions.

PREPARED: We had just moved from out of state and wanted to buy a home during COVID, Oregon fires, and with an infant. She provided us with educational information about the home buying process including timelines, Oregon real estate, and fantastic insights to the market in the communities we were looking to buy. Most of our interactions were via email or text which was perfect for us due to COVID. She always responded promptly to our questions and provided great advice about what and how to negotiate at various stages during the home buying process. ORGANIZED: Lindsay proactively sent us check in emails to let us know what was in progress, what's next in the process, and what (if anything) we needed to do. To reiterate how organized she was, after we closed she sent us a digital folder with all of the papers and other materials we signed/were associated with the property. It was so nice to have everything in one spot that we can easily and quickly reference. Buying during COVID: We felt safe as Lindsay and Clara both wore masks, were socially distant, and brought extra hand sanitizer. For each home we toured, we were provided with gloves and shoe coverings. She also used a digital signature platform to review and sign documents so we didn't have to do so in person. We do not have enough words to describe how easy and fantastic the home buying process was with Lindsay. Aside from the professional side of things, it's also very clear how committed Lindsay is to supporting the small businesses and charities in the area, which is the cherry on top! We received such thoughtful and local themed goodies that supports the community. We will definitely work with Lindsay again on our future real estate needs.
