My tires were not rotated, a week later my rear brakes had to be done as there was no brake pad left, stee rubbing on steel, brown metal brake rust all over my rims, very dangerous. If my tires were rotated like i requested the mechanic would have noticed and inspected and found that my brakes needed to be replaced immediately.

I went into the Toyota Plaza service department to have them look at it and, while it was in, do an oil change. I was ecstatic that they were able to get me right in and out that afternoon. I was so relieved that I wasn't stuck for days on end waiting to get in. Moreover, everyone was so friendly and helpful--from the service writer, to the tech, to the runners in the reception drive up area! While nobody's happy about unexpected vehicle repairs, they did everything possible to make it as bearable as possible!!

The car had a broken muffler and the wheel covers did not fit and so they were attached to the steel wheels with electrical ties. The salesperson John Brown gave me his word that they would fix both of these things. The muffler fix lasted only a couple of hundred kilometers and they never resolved the issue with the wheel covers despite numerous requests. I will not do business with them again. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this dealership as they do not keep their promises.

All we were told by the dealership was that it was our responsibility to arrange, and pay, for transportation and if the repair was covered under warranty so too would be the transportation cost. So we did. Some 9 months later after enquiry further on the delay in reimbursement of the transport cost, we are told that it won't be reimbursed because we didn't call Roadside Assistance for them to organization to arrange transportation. And we can't call Roadside Assistance now because it is after the fact. Unbelievable service.

Get ready to make several appointments with service to have one minor issue fixed. Be prepared to bring it in several times to have the same recall fixed. You won't be heard by the service advisors. They're happy to send a "valuable" customer our the door unhappy and in something unsafe. If you want a manager, they'll run out the door before you get there. Don't expect their contact information to be readily available either. Do you already have an email or phone contact for someone? Hope you're not in a hurry for a reply. You'd be lucky to even get one. You want warranty work done? well guess what? You're going to pay for it because they will find any excuse not to honour it. Brought my 2015 explorer in for burning rubber smell while on the highway. $450 later new belt new…read moretensioner. Picked up vehicle and while on way home, same smell. Back to Avalon Ford. Got told they couldn't find the problem (they didn't test on highway). But said they'll keep it for the weekend, test drive again. Fast forward to Monday, received a call said once again couldn't find the problem, but there is a recall, something about the exhaust. They'd fix it and it would be ready on Tuesday. We told them we'd be in to pick up Thursday or Friday, because we are from out of town. When I go and pick up the vehicle I get charged $268, which what ever it is what it is. When I get the suv however, the whole drivers do is scratched up (looks like someone cut a corner to quick while bribing it in for service) and through the jigs and reels, and arguing with the service manager he tells me too bad we aren't gonna cover it because it was left on their parking lot and anyone could have done it. So here we are out $736 and probably another $1000 to $1500 to get the door fixed and guess what? Still have the burning rubber smell. I've lived in Canada and the U.S and Ford has been nothing but great. Here we are dealing with this joke of a dealership. Stay far away from these people. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Definitely won't be getting another dime from me
