Last week, I brought my car to Steele Honda for routine service. It was in great shape when I…read moredropped it off. While it was there, a staff member took it for a test drive and was involved in a serious accident. I wasn't there and wasn't driving. My car now has major damage, including airbag deployment, and it's sitting at a repair facility. I was told another driver may have caused the crash, and that everything is now going through insurance, but the result for me is the same my car isn't drivable. I work two jobs and have kids, so having a vehicle is essential. The dealership did give me a loaner at first, but I was required to return it on January 24 and was told it was only a "goodwill" gesture. My car is nowhere near being fixed, and I'm now completely without transportation. I don't have loss-of-use coverage, so there's no rental being provided while the insurance process plays out. I wasn't involved in the accident at all.I just came in for routine maintenance but I'm the one left dealing with the impact. I'm not trying to blame anyone. Accidents happen. But it's been incredibly stressful to be left without a car and with so much uncertainty after a simple service visit. I think other customers should be aware this can happen.

I would never purchase another vehicle from them, it's not worth the consistently shitty service and disorganization. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Get ready to make several appointments with service to have one minor issue fixed. Be prepared to bring it in several times to have the same recall fixed. You won't be heard by the service advisors. They're happy to send a "valuable" customer our the door unhappy and in something unsafe. If you want a manager, they'll run out the door before you get there. Don't expect their contact information to be readily available either. Do you already have an email or phone contact for someone? Hope you're not in a hurry for a reply. You'd be lucky to even get one. You want warranty work done? well guess what? You're going to pay for it because they will find any excuse not to honour it. All in all, owning a Ford has been the worst vehicle experience of my life. Poor service. Poor management. Can't believe I'm stuck dealing with these people for another 6 years. Gross.

Got told they couldn't find the problem (they didn't test on highway). But said they'll keep it for the weekend, test drive again. Fast forward to Monday, received a call said once again couldn't find the problem, but there is a recall, something about the exhaust. They'd fix it and it would be ready on Tuesday. We told them we'd be in to pick up Thursday or Friday, because we are from out of town. When I go and pick up the vehicle I get charged $268, which what ever it is what it is. When I get the suv however, the whole drivers do is scratched up (looks like someone cut a corner to quick while bribing it in for service) and through the jigs and reels, and arguing with the service manager he tells me too bad we aren't gonna cover it because it was left on their parking lot and anyone could have done it. So here we are out $736 and probably another $1000 to $1500 to get the door fixed and guess what? Still have the burning rubber smell. I've lived in Canada and the U.S and Ford has been nothing but great. Here we are dealing with this joke of a dealership. Stay far away from these people. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Definitely won't be getting another dime from me
