I am disappointed in my experience with this company. I really wanted to support them but feel I cannot order from them again. I placed my order 11/21 as a Christmas gift feeling a month was plenty of time. No where did I read that their process time was 4-6 weeks. I placed an order with this company back in October 14th. I sent an email asking approximate ship time. I was told 5-7 business days. After 5-7 business days I received so shipping details. I emailed the company again. A week goes by no response, so I FB message them. Also no response. After two weeks I get an email saying they were gonna have 25+ business day ship times cause they needed to buy new equipment. Not my problem. Don't promise something you can't fulfill! 1st red flag is when a business doesn't have a phone number for you to contact them. They don't!!! If I could do no stars I would. I placed my order in November, plenty of time for Christmas. Today is Jan 16 and I just got notice it shipped. I filled a complaint with the BBB. You e-mail them (which I have done numerous times) and they will tell you it can take up to 72 hours for them to respond. What kind of business is that? This is probable the first negative review I've had to write about any company I've done business with online. I had received a part from them on November 9th but the item shipped to me was not what I had ordered. I've contacted them and sent a picture of the incorrect item on November 10th. I received an email back on November 16th, with an apology for the mistake and telling me that they would send out the correct one and that I may keep the incorrect one. Since then I have sent several emails asking when I would receive the replacement since it was for a Christmas present. To this date I have not gotten any response nor have I received the replacement item. I guess I'll have to order it somewhere else and dispute my credit card. AI tried cancelling after I was told there was no guarantee it would arrive by Christmas, but they're doing their best go get it out right away. Trying to get information is nearly impossible. I ordered 2 items that were tobe Christmas presents, I did not get these items and had to buy replacement gifts until this order comes in whenever that may be. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service. I am trying to find out the status of my order and all I get is a form email. I tried calling the number and I got an answering machine.. I have already placed a complaint with the BBB. My next call will be to the Georgia Attorney General's office if I do not receive communication about my order. They took my money fast enough but have not delivered the product. It took several days before customer service responded to several follow-up emails (December, January and February...yes, still waiting!). The initial response directed me to review their website shipping policy, which I did...and was very patient. Even though it took longer than anticipated to receive my order from Steel Roots, I was thoroughly overwhelmed with the quality when it arrived. When Judy communicated that it would not be ready for Christmas, I simply printed a copy of the pictures and wrapped them instead, realizing they really didn't need them until summer when the cabin opens. This company is not worth the trouble. They take forever. They change their embedded policies. They don't respond until you dispute or contact BBB. I contacted PayPal to get refund then all of a sudden my order was shipped. Watched other reviews and my order got put in front of other so they would win dispute.
