Cheapest price I found from the Cape main land to Martha's Vineyard. $32 for two adults round trip at the ticket window. The boat was clean and well maintained, safe, reliable, a smooth steady on time departure, arrival, and return. Free shuttle to and from parking (not free) no long waits and no issues. Highly recommend these guys over some of the other fancy pants companies that were approximately $144 for two adults round trip. A+

Always a thrill. What's to say, youre headed to the Vineyard! Enjoy the ride! Grab a cuppa joe and get up deck and enjoy the fresh salt air.

This is entry way into Martha's Vineyard. We missed the last ferry, at 9:45 pm. We waited for the 1st ferry out, 6:15 a.m. The Steamship, especially the opening manager, is knowledge about things to do. The ferries have Snack Foods available on board - a little expensive - but convenience is what you're paying for. One suggestion for ferry owners: the expectation was that your ferries would be spotless, including the bathrooms at the wait area and on the ferries.

Location at Martha's Vineyard Island Oak Bluff, and unlike the other offices at Nantucket and…read moreHyannis, this office is just a one room booth (though it can fit a lot of young people at a time). I kept missing it, as it was a crowded Friday afternoon, but then later realized that it is exactly where it needs to be: fronting the entrance to the dock where the ferry leaves. We were able to change our departure (to go back to Hyannis) from 8:40 pm to an earlier 6:10 pm on Friday, and there was no charge since we did it before the original time elapsed...we just needed to show them our original invoice. Unlike the other Hy-line offices, there is no indoor seating, but plenty to pass the time since right in the middle of a busy tourist area. By taking the earlier return, it was a different crowd...more older and a lot less crowded. We got back to Hyannis in under an hour, and offloaded pretty easily. There were shuttles waiting in the nearby road (to avoid the heavy congestion in the pickup area), and we got the last two seats. We got dropped off at Lot 8 offsite in 10 minutes, and were on our way. Probably wouldn't recommend trying to see both islands on the same day, but it can be done via Hy-Line.

The staff is super relaxed and we felt very welcome the minute we stepped on board. They made us feel like we were locals. They have a fully stocked bar, several comfortable areas to sit, great views and a very smooth ride. Only reason for lack of 5 stars is the boat is a bit old. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Just not quite a five star experience.

A very mixed experience. I was supposed to go on a 2:30 trolley tour. However, it got cancelled…read morethe night before. I didn't realize it until I showed up for it and they said they reached out to me. Sure enough they did, but it was in the body of an email sent the night before. The subject line of the email said, 'Conformation Downtown Edgartown Tour...'. So I assumed it was like the 2 other emails I got confirming the tour and didn't read/click through it. Now, I'll take some of the blame for not reading the body of the email, but you'd think if they were cancelling it would be in the subject line or view text or phone. Anyway, I got a $5 refund and did a different tour later in the day that ended up being virtually identical to the tour I did with another company earlier in the day. Not their fault, and in hindsight, I probably should've just taken the full refund. Anthony, the guide was great. Very fun and has an infectious personality. Much more upbeat than the other tour I did. The bus was very loud and probably needs new brakes based on all the squealing whenever we slowed down. All told, this is probably more of a 3.5 star review, but alas, yelp doesn't allow half stars and I'm bumping it up to 4 because of how great Anthony was, although I really should be giving a 3 star review. And although it was part of what made him so fun, Anthony probably shouldn't be using a pointing stick while he's driving. Edit- forgot to mention too the tour was closer to 2 hours than 2.5. And again, I really should be giving 3, but Anthony was so good that I'll still give them 4.

It was a fun time. The driver was entertaining, and it was a great way to see the island in a few…read morehours. Only thing I'd suggest is a bit longer at the stop by the lighthouse. There's a few cute shops, bathrooms, an awesome view and a lighthouse. Not quite enough time to do it all!
