I had pasta with prawns and seaweed (that's what the menu said) and it was delicious! I would have given the place four stars if it wasn't for the below average service. The waitress didn't really show any interest answering my questions and it was quite hard getting her attention. The prices for the food are not cheap but definitely worth it. The drinks however are certainly overpriced. Specifically the wines and water are way too expensive. The beers are priced in line with the city average ( I guess it's very easy to compare prices on beer in Munich and that's what keeps them low). Overall a nice place that could be great if they at least could improve the service a little.

You can also go and order a piece of cake from the bakery next door that is part of the same establishment. The staff is friendly, and the coffees OK. As to dining here: it's OK if you go for a salad, but don't expect anything fancy. This is a Bavarian place: the Wienerschnitzel is too dry and covered in too much breadcrumb, the pommes are a disgrace, and the salad simply too much to handle. I have no clue why German reviews end up in 4 stars, but that certainly does not correspond to the quality of the food!

It also came with a side salad, pretzel and bread, so this could have been a light meal. The cheese and red onion make a killer combination for kissing. The Jager schnitzel was also a large portion with a nicely fried potato rosti. The rosti was not greasy at all. The schnitzel came with a creamy and rich mushroom sauce that was flavorful. The pork schnitzel itself was pretty tender. In the end, the food was so plentiful that I did not even consider dessert. The restaurant has a nice bar/bistro atmosphere. I sat outside for dinner and noticed that surrounding tables had American diners (coincidence?). Service was fine as the server was efficient. It was funny that she did ask me about my choice of appetizer. Lol, I know I'm Asian but I'm not that lactose intolerant...

I don't think they were quite prepared for the busy day and were slightly short on staff to service all the people sitting outside and in. As the outside was full we decided to sit in. They have about 40-50 seats outside and maybe a few more than that inside. They have an extensive menu from breakfast through to Bavarian classics, salads, soups and burgers. I decided to have the bacon cheese burger for lunch along with one of my favorite beers Augustiner Dunkles Weißbier ;-) The burger was perfectly cooked (medium) and, it was really nice and juicy without adding any sauce. I loved it and would happily come back here for that combo alone ;-)) Whilst the service started really slow it picked up soon enough and the staff were very attentive. Happily come back here for a beer and meal :-))
