Pleasant restaurant vibe and quite cosy. Candle light dining with a great wine and beer list. Risotto de Mare was absolutely stunning and molto delizioso!! Seafood was a super tender mix of shrimps, clams, mussels and calamari with generous slivers of garlic. Risotto was unbroken, plump and al dente! Lasagna was a beautiful conglomerate of cheese, pasta and homey, slow cooked sauce! Legitimately authentic and believable! Staff was so friendly and seems that they have a huge local clientele (they all hugged and kissed the staff upon leaving). Arrivederci!!

Other than that I would have trouble to find any unique value proposition for this place... It is relatively small and crowded, surprisingly. The suburban climate does not work well here. The waiters are super friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and everything tried was spot on with seasoning and presentation. Highlight for me was the pistachio soufflé desert. I still dream about it a month later. Yum! Sitting outside is a treat on a lovely evening. Just note, in true Munich fashion, people bring all size dogs to an outdoor dining place so it could get loud

A lot of classics, the chef/owner is a German who worked in Rome for a while. The staff is great, friendly and laid back, but very professional. The arugula Salad was large and had a fresh, light, citrus dressing, the antipasti plate was delicious. one of us had a swordfish carpaccio and one of us tried an interesting risotto with cabbage. The Arabbiata was perfectly spicy. Certainly everything was a cut above the usual Italian place in Munich. We didn't try desserts, but had some great wines at very reasonable prices. We have been in once or twice for a drink at their bar and are looking forward to the Terrace in spring. There is also a short take out menu we've used sometimes later in the evening. Definitely recommend this place

The waiter suggested the wine which was excellent I requested an assortment of Antipasto and let the waiter do the choosing- just like in Italy. It was awesome and of perfect proportion. I loved the gigante beans the best but it also had zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, shrimp, sundried tomato, artichoke, roasted red pepper, and lots of olives. I ordered a pizza half with arugula and half with mushrooms. They put a lot of arugula which was very tasty because they seasoned it. Although I prefer it plain, it was still good. The mushroom half was perfect. My friend had a pasta dish with broccoli and sausage . The sausage was more German than Italian but he liked it and ate it all. The service was very slow because they seemed to be shorthanded. There was only one waiter and one busboy for the whole restaurant.
